GLAMBERGET extendable bed has a compact design – perfect for tight places or under low ceilings, so you can make the most of your available space.
Since the bed extends, it fits both twin and full mattresses. So if your needs change and you want a bigger bed, you can just update the mattress and keep using the bed frame.
You can also place 2 twin mattresses next to each other to create an even bigger sleeping place.
2 storage boxes are included, great for transforming unused space under your bed into valuable storage. What's more, they’re easy to roll out since they’re on castors!

Mattress is too short LilyThe mattress they sell with the bed is too short. And also the drawers are floating. You would think they would be attached to the bed but they are not.
Perfect BedMeganI bought this for my daughter’s room. It’s a finished attic so we have to be creative with space. This bed is not only gorgeous, but the amount of storage is super impressive. She’s used it as both a Twin bed and we recently pulled it out to make it a King size (two twin mattresses). It has held up over time (she’s not always gentle!) and I wish I could get one myself!
Great frame, awfully engineered slats.SarahI love this frame. I use it condensed most of the year in my reading nook, but we expand it to a king with two futons when it is winter so we can sleep in the warmer part of the house. My issue is with the slats that come with this bed because when it is expanded, they are quite far apart. Not too bad of an issue in and of itself, but the slats themselves are not whole pieces of wood. They are joined together. Place them strategically! We did our best, but because many are joined in the center where your body puts more weight on them, they have snapped. They aren't even listed with a part number, so I cannot replace. Unfortunately, the store is three hours away from me. So, we have to repair them ourselves as best as we can, and move the broken ones to the top and end of the bed...which are now very unstable areas to even sit on.
Space saving solution for multi purpose roomUteSturdy natural wood daybed that easily converts to an almost king size bed for guests. We bought a soft king size topper over the firm mattresses when pulled apart. The two storage drawers double as nightstands and can be put on either side of the bed. Easy assembly following instructions. Not recommended for tall people (twin size length only).
Perfect Idea DeborahHi. This is the bed of my dreams. I love how I can extend or down size. When I purchased it I didn’t know the storage boxes aren’t sold separately. If you extend the GLAMBERGET to a king size and your frame sits in the center of the room it would be a better idea if there were 4 storage/drawers instead of 2 more room equals more storage as well but very unique bed. I love it. Please make storage boxes available for separate purchase thank you for making great things possible.
Nice, butAnonymous reviewerThe bed is nice but the twin mattress we bought to go with it does not fit in the frame as it should. It rests on top of the framework not in it being wider. The length is too long leaving a larger gap
Occasional guest use- perfectly fits that needAnonymousI got this for a study/extra guest bedroom. It was slightly difficult to put together (although not as complex of a build as Brimnes Queen storage bed for reference). Some of the fastening could be better quality controlled, especially the circular hex system. Some worked perfectly and others took a lot of fiddling to finally work. After getting those properly installed, it’s smooth sailing. I have it in a carpeted room and the sliding works perfectly. The castors on the drawers roll very smoothly. I did not buy mattresses from IKEA. I have two foam twin mattresses that I am able to lay side by side on the frame without issue. Has not been used regularly, but so far has not broken like other reviews. Feels pretty sturdy. The storage for linens is a huge bonus .
Awesome bedRosaThis bed is solid wood and can be a twin or double.
It looks great but lots of issuesMercedesNot sure where to start, but here I go:
- Missing bed slats (not one or two... 11 of them) so I had to go to Ikea again to get the missing ones. I have to say, that the box contained extra pieces of wood that I never used, they were not in the instructions (such as 2 extra drawers covers).
- When the bed is extended, there are no stoppers, so if you're not careful, it will open too much and separate. I had to improvise some stoppers.
- Linen: It's confusing, because I though I was having a Full size when extended, but it's not like that. It's twin when is closed, and 2 twins when opened, so I had to buy 2 sets of twin sheets and a King size cover sheet.
- And the worst of all, after 3 nights of use, one of the bed slats has broken.
So less than 2 weeks since I bought it and I'm not happy with this product.
