Great Plates!JessicaThese plates, and really the whole set, are great! They look beautiful on the table. The series includes a lot of pieces that accommodate many different types of dining situations, from casual to more formal, and for many types of foods.
They’re clearly are meant to look like they’re hand thrown. They have some heft to them, but the glaze is a little too consistent so that gives them away. Nevertheless, I’ve gotten lots of compliments on them and I really enjoy the blue color.
I’ve read that people think they chip easily. That’s not been my experience at all. We use them everyday, they pile up in the sink at times, they go in the microwave, the dishwasher, and the oven, and they’re all still pristine. Obviously don’t treat them like they’re melamine or something similar, but otherwise you should be fine. For comparison, they’re stronger than everyday porcelain.

Incorrect sizing on the titleKumaranPlease correct the dimensions to 9 3/4" instead of 10". Plate looks nicer but too small for a dinner plate.
Chips easily MarkLooks great! Not the easiest to eat from as the plate is completely flat and the edges are low. As the title states, the edges chip very easily
