Great Plowl or BlateAnyaI had been looking for a plowl/blade for a while and found them to either be too expensive or in sets of 4 or more. Perfect size for my meal needs! Only complaint is I wish the bottom wasn’t flat cause I always feel like I’m going to drop it. Transparency, I did get it as is.5

The walls of the dish are not as thick as I expected but that's just fine. It's maybe a little more expensive than I would have thought to pay for a bowl like this, but I just needed one of them so that's also fine! Very happy overall.5

The most amazing bowl!KrystalI really wanted a bowl that is also a plate. A blate, a powl, if you will. Looked everywhere but didn't find the right one, until we got this one. We use them every day. Seriously. They are perfect for personal size salad bowls, soups, pasta dishes. They have a great heft to them without being a thousand pounds. My young toddler has literally thrown them on the ground, twice. Still going strong. Came on here to leave a review and totally forgot you can put them in the oven too, they are magical.5

Always brokenAnonymous reviewerI would love to write a positive review because these look great. But I have ordered these three times now, and each time they arrive broken. I live 200 miles from the nearest IKEA so returning them for a refund is not possible. I'd spend more on gas than they're worth. I order porcelain from France and China that make it without a scratch, but IKEA can't figure out how to ship stoneware in one piece?1

Positively Gorgeous!CamilleI wanted the blue oval bowls but they weren't in stock so I got a round one and signed up for notification when the ovals came in. Boy am I glad!! Now I have the round AND oval serving bowls. They're positively gorgeous online but even gorgeouser in person. I had to restrain myself from buying more. I love every single thing about this collection. Hopefully, the teapot and creamer will be available in blue soon.5

I bought a bunch of these and am not disappointed at all. The colour is gorgeous and I use them daily as dish-bowls. I know they're meant for the oven and baking but they work just as well as regular every day dishware.

I love the look of these dishes. I was very happy to find serving bowls to complement the set. I can’t comment on how well they are going to hold up regarding chips or scratches as I haven’t used them long enough but I’m hopeful they will be good.

"GLADELIG tableware is made with reactive glaze, which gives the surface a livelier, handcrafted expression. We also put a lot of work into finding the right proportions and curves to make the shapes feel harmonious. The idea is that the plates will suit many different dishes and occasions – from TV dinners to weekend meals. One favorite is the medium-sized plate with slightly higher edges which we think combines tradition and contemporary design in a nice way."
