Not as picturedSaraThese plates look like they are a warm gray beige but in reality are VERY blue with a VERY cool tone. This was very disappointing!
Lead or no leadEstinThere was no information anywhere on the web or in store display or on the package whether or not the dishes contain any amount of lead and no one at the store could tell me for sure if it contain any lead or no lead at all. I would think if you were lead free you wanna post it you wanna talk about it or at least let people know who are concerned about those things.

NIce setLeahI finally caved during the recent dinnerware sale and purchased these. I really love the size of the plates & bowls. (I'd tried the bowls previously buying them as singles to test out the GLADELIG family.) I like that I saved money buying the set and that there were no stickers on the backs of each. No cracked or chips from the packing. Would recommend.

Solid and beautifulDawnOnce we learned about Ikea's rigorous standards for safety in dishware and learned how much lead was in a lot of other dishware brands, we knew we needed to switch. We bought these dishes in blue and they're beautiful, with natural variation within the set (like you'd see if they were handcrafted). The bowls are smaller than we thought but we'll use that to shrink our all-too-large American-sized portions. The dishes are sturdy and, unlike our previous dish sets, they don't get so warm in the microwave that you need oven mitts to take the plate out.
All in all, we highly recommend these dishes! We haven't found anything negative about them yet.

Can’t Go WrongKarenThese dishes are a great buy for your money. I bought two sets to make sure I had plenty of dishes. I like that they did not include the cups. This allowed for a couple extra dishes added to the set.
More fragile than the $1 oftast platesJessicaI'm so disappointed in these dishes. After only two months so many have chips. We are gentle with these and have a normal dishwasher and yet every time we pull them out of the dishwasher there is a new one with a chip. I bought two sets to replace all of my dinnerware. What a mistake. I do not recommend.
