        Wall Mount Screw Holes Are Diagonal, Not ChangeableNikolaiThe screw holes in the wall mount (which fasten this lamp to the light box) are in diagonal corners: northeast, northwest, southwest, and southeast, whereas most light boxes have two screw holes: north and south. The wall mount cannot be rotated, which means the only way to install this lamp is at an angle, NOT up or down like it's shown here. Unless you have an X-shaped screw pattern in your light box, this light will tilt sideways. I wish IKEA would have standard (or at least adaptable!) wall plates so you don't end up selling customers a lopsided light. This product was shipped to me, and the nearest IKEA is 50 miles away in another state. So I can't even return it, I just have to eat the cost of a poorly designed product. This is very aggravating!1
        Can't adjust product to electric boxJamesProduct looks good, but I had to return it to store. The screw positions on this product's mounting bracket are at the 3 and 9 oclock, and can't be adjusted. The screw holes in the electric box installed inside my wall are at the 11 and 5 positions.2

        What is glass?

        Glass is mainly made of sand, soda, and lime melted at a high temperature. Tempering or various additives gives you extra-strong and impact-resistant glass that in some cases can be taken straight from freezer to oven without cracking. A big benefit is how glass can be recycled over and over without the quality deteriorating. Also, a lot less energy is needed to melt recycled glass compared to new raw materials. Our goal is to eventually use only recycled glass in our range.
