perfect mirror for narow space on a wallAnthony Bfit perfectly in the strip of wall between my closet and bedroom door. i used 10 lb strength 3m removable strips to secure it instead of the included hardware.5

Good but too much bracket spaceDianeWe installed this on the back of a closet door, so whenever the door was moved, the mirror moved in the brackets because there’s too much space in the bracket - it’s bigger than the thickness of the mirror. We added felt in between the space on all four brackets and that fixed the movement. We don’t really like that the mirror isn’t flat against the door so we hope it’s stable enough. 4

Fabulous KimberlyThese mirrors are the perfect size for multiple uses. I used them in inside the Billy Oxberg glass door bookcases to make mirrored shoe closets. And used the same to add a little pizzazz for additional glassware storage in my dining room. Worked perfectly. We attached using a solid adhesive not foam squares or the clips included as they needed to lie flush with the backing. 5
Difficult to hang up.JaclynThis mirror was difficult to hang up, especially since IKEA doesn't include the screws with it. Thankfully, I had some on hand that I could use. The brackets also make it hard to hang up on a wall. I was able to get the mirror hung up, but it seems a bit unstable.2

I bought 6 of these for my home gym. They were such an affordable way to create large mirrored walls. I used the velcro sticky wall fixings instead of the ones that came with the pack as it was an easier option than trying to measure!

Material

What is mirror glass?

Mirror glass is made of mostly of ordinary glass with a reflective coating in some kind of metal. In the past it was common for the coating to contain lead or mercury – but over time, both of these metals have been shown to be harmful to people and the environment. That’s why, as of several years ago, IKEA has a total ban on using lead or mercury in our mirrors and instead it is non-toxic silver or aluminium that reflects your mirror image.
