A few tweaks and it would be perfectMelindaFirst of all, I'm using it in a different way. Instead of the dowel on the top, I'm going to hang it with the rod underneath. (I want to use it to hang some mugs.) The problem I ran into was that the S hooks from IKEA don't fit the rod on this and I had a difficult finding some that will work, but finally did, because the rod is an inch in diameter. I think a smaller one would still accomplish its purpose, no matter which way you hang it. I saw this shelf and fell in love with it. I love the color (the description doesn't do it for me, I think of seafoam green when I look at it if that helps others) and it matches my decor really well.4
FINALLY BACK!!!AmyI'm SO glad IKEA brought the Flisat wall shelf back. It is so versatile and just a beautiful minimal stunning classic. We've bought a few over the years but stocked up again when they came back in stock. The light white stained pine is my favorite because I can leave it as-is or paint it a different color if I want to.5
