Not fluffy VivianaI bought this duvet thinking it would give my bed a fluffy look, it looks like I have a sheet in my bed not a duvet 1
Don't buyRavinaWe need to was this and when we did it soaked up so much water it was as heavy as a bucket of water. It would not dry in the drier so we wrung it. Water poured out for so long our arms were tired of wringing it. It will probably become moldy before it ever dries1
QualityCarolynWe are still using our Inserts from years ago...new ones to to our vacation home!5
Okay for fall nightsJacquelineI really wanted the extra warm version of this duvet but since it was not available I picked up this one instead. It's okay no complaints I already knew what to expect since I have the same one in a different room4
Warm Duvet InsertDebbieVery Nice but not the same size as my King Duvet Cover. I love it though.4
Only buy down if you really want itCynthiaI did not realize that this was down when I bought it - my fault. I had another one, and forgot the I had to always take it to the cleaners. So I washed it, after a full overnight on the close line and an hour in a commercial dryer, it still smelled like chicken. My mistake - you are supposed to do the commercial dryer first then clothes line - but all this is too much. Only buy down if you really want it. Then take it to the cleaners - don't wash it at home.3
Loses feathersRachaelThis duvet loses feathers and they are everywhere anytime I take it out of the duvet cover to wash it. I feel like for the price this shouldn't be happening. Soon I'm afraid it will be flat!1
One comforter excellent, other sheda horriblySarahWe have purchased two of these comforters over two years. One has held up wonderfully, like all of my previous ikea down comforters that are still in use after many years, but the other sheda dust and feathers horribly. Even with a duvet cover my son's bedroom floor looks like someone ripped open a down pillow and when washed, the comforter fills the line trap with feathers. It seems to be a quality control issue, as my daughter's version does not have the same level of shedding. My recommendation - purchase and if there is substantial feather leakage return asap. We waited too long. 2
Great value and qualityJenniferThis is a very good price for a duvet. I don't have a lot of budget to work with, so I was happy to pay this price. I love the duvets instead of comforters as I am in a small home and like to change the covers and not have to store multiple comforters. 5
LOVE - now own multipleSarahI love my duvet insert. I first bought a twin 4 years ago in store. I wanted the perfect fluff so I went in the store, closed my eyes, and just felt the ones on display. I loved the FJÄLLARNIKA the best. 3 years later, I needed a full/queen duvet insert and bought the exact same one, just larger. I've had it for a year now and am still so happy. $59 for a queen sized duvet insert? That's a steal for the quality of this duvet.5
Plush and functional!! CaitlinWhat a great purchase!! It’s lovely and honestly, with a duvet cover, is simply perfect!! Even without the duvet cover, it’s great!5
Needs Corner TiesAnnaHas no loops or ties to secure it to a duvet cover. I wake up with the duvet all crumpled at one end. I don’t recommend it unless you plan to sew on your own corner loops. 2
Love it!JohnIt can get pretty chilly on winter nights with no central (or other) heat - this duvet keeps me toasty warm. Sometimes, I even have to stick my feet out as it gets too warm!
As to odor - I aired mine out on no-heat in the dryer prior to use, no smell. It is a bit noisy when I toss and turn at night but is really comfortable.
I definitely recommend this (I bought twin size - plenty big for an adult) - no regrets, especially when paired with my Ikea feather pillow. :)5
CozyLauraOne of the coziest comforters we have ever had. This is the comforter on our toddlers bed and he loves it. We will probably be purchasing one for our own bed soon because we are so jealous. It also washes well which is important especially when it’s on the bed of a toddler.5
PerfectPaulGreat price for a nice comforter.5
Too small for queen duvet coverFalguniThis duvet says full/queen but when you put a queen duvet cover over it, it’s too small and the duvet doesn’t fully fill the cover. 1
Does not stink.ErikI don't understand why people are complaining. The outer shell has high (252) thread count 100% cotton and is very smooth like hotel bedding. The duck feather and down fill does not stink at all. I don't know why people would want to wash it right away and damage the feathers. Down alternative is just polyester and that does not breathe at all! This blanket is very warm and comfortable to the touch and it BREATHES! I don't know any place that sells this quality of materials and construction at this price. They must have the lockdown on the supply to offer such a value. I bought mine on clearance (a person returned it) and got it for 50% off and an additional 15% off due to the current savings event and I am so pumped. I drive almost an hour to get to the store and I love to see what they have marked down or things in clearance like this duvet.5
Not too happySitoraThe shell feels too plastic. And it is noisy whem moving around. I had to return it as soon as i felt the shell. 3
Feather comforter EstherToasty warm for this cold winter. 5
Not standard, no tiesNicoleBought the queen size to go in a queen duvet cover that has worked fine with other queen duvets. This one is much smaller and has nothing for the cover ties to attach to.1
