The contact surfaces are covered with GRANN – a soft, smooth and strong grain leather with natural variations. Other surfaces are covered with BOMSTAD, a coated fabric that has a similar look and feel to leather.

DecentOpeeThere are good points and bad. The couch is easy to assemble, except the instructions on how to attach the armrests are wrong. You need to use screws with the plastic head. Took a while to figure it out. It is very comfortable. However, once you put a matress and fold it there is a big gap between the couch cushions and the frame on the front. I'm not sure if that will go away with time. But it drives me nuts, as you can see the frame through it. For that, I give it 3 stars.3
So far so goodOpeeBought it a couple of days ago. So comfy! The leather is super soft. High quality. The matress is still inflating. I am a bit nervous to see how easy it will bend into the bed and underneath the cushions. Word of caution: the instructions for bolting armrests to the sofa are wrong. You need to use bolts with plastic covering. Took a while to figure it out. Otherwise, it is super easy to install. Also, it is a two-man job. IKEA only sent one person, so I had to help with the installation. Not a deal breaker for me as I live alone. Just FYI.5
Sofa is great but sleeping not so muchKimraThe sofa is beautiful and very comfortable. The mattress for sleeping is not. It tends to dip into the middle so if you are trying sleep on your side facing one direction you tend to be "pulled" to the middle of the mattress. The mattress is also not the most comfortable, which I anticipated anyway but the dipping into the middle on a brand new mattress is very disappointing.4
Unbelievable action from ikeaMehdiI've bought this piece online, as you see clearly in the picture, I was under impression that it comes with the bed mechanism and mattress! However that was not the case. Basically i received a number of pieces that you can not even connect them together! Nonetheless I had to explain it for 1 hour to ikea employee to accept the return. 1
