However it's this metal smell that comes from it whenever hot liquid is in it. Not sure if its the enamel or what. There was no need to change up the original.2

I have been using these mugs for several years. Very good quality and last a long time. The ones I had earlier broke due to slipping from my hands and dropping to the floor, otherwise no other issues.
