Beautiful looking but marked up instantlyTaraBought this set in light gray on Sunday and used for the first time today. It instantly got scratches from cutlery. Highly disappointed and I can’t even go return to the store because my husband cut the packaging up already. Would not recommend buying if you get bothered by scratches.

This review is not black or white…MargaretIt is grey! When I opened the box of dishes, I was surprised at how grey they are. Yes, I ordered the Matte Light Grey, but from the picture I didn’t expected them to be quite so grey, but more white. Other than the color, we love them! Knives don’t screech across them, they stack compactly, fit in the dishwasher well, are solid but not too heavy. Other than wishing there was a white or cream options, we are happy with these!

Suffer from cutlery markingMaryI have had a set of 12 of these dishes in the off-white, beige color with glossy finish for 2 1/2 years. I have had no trouble with chipping or breakage. However after I had them for about 6 months they started getting cutlery marks. The marks can be removed with bar keepers friend but they come right back with use and make the dishes look bad.
Good value/qualityErinFor what you get with this set (18 pieces) for the price, it really can't be beat. Nothing fancy, but that's ok. Great everyday dinnerware.

Nice set of dishesEvanThis is the 2nd set of dishes we have owned from IKEA. These don’t seem as durable as ones purchased in past. A plate chipped in about the first 2 weeks of using.

Good save!RaymondWhen this first arrived, every single dinner plate was smashed--and nothing else! So I washed everything else, and put it on the shelf. And called Ikea. Inside of two weeks, I had an entire new set, with not even a chip out of anything. So I put the smashed plates in the box and printed out the return label, taped the box shut and returned the whole thing to a Walgreen's nearby and sent it on its way back. Now I have a full set of Fargklar, and I'm happy. Good save, Ikea!
Lovely set of dinnerware.BarbaraWe bought two sets of this dinnerware because we wanted extras to replace any that break. The color is a deep celery green. The set is nice and dishwasher safe. We’re very pleased with the fargklar!

One Set Marked InstantlyBethWe bought glossy beige and matte light turquoise to go together, and they look lovely. But the glossy beige instantly got marked terribly just by using a fork and knife. Every piece looks horrible. The turquoise is much better. It gets marked too, but the matte finish and color disguise it. 3 stars for the turquoise, 1 for the glossy beige.
