BOUGHT 8 OF THE BLACK ONES AND WASHED FIRSTJoelWashed in medium warm water with dawn dishwashing soap, then hung on chairs and they dried overnight, lots of shedding and going to vacuum them now, i drove to ikea and they were half price 9.99$ the look and feel is excellent and matches the Eames group lounger in a magical sort of way, have a large getebo couch and the contrast of color and texture is really workin well , hopefully the shedding will slow after i vacuum , after washing and hang drying they are almost as soft as silk, washing them makes sense as lots of hands touch them as they are being made...........

Pillow Cover & Inner PillowsTammyWhen I purchase pillow covers, I always use the IKEA Feather & Down Inserts, they are of a high quality & the price is so much more affordable than anywhere else. IKEA is the only place I purchase inserts from! The inserts are not firm & squishy, they are comfy. From a look standpoint not very flattering. A decorator friend taught me years ago to always purchase the inner insert at least 2” larger than the pillow cover, this will be much firmer & hold pillow covers shape. I’ve also put two inner pillows for extra firm pillows. I purchased these Linen Covers in the Blue, it’s stunning & the Linen is outstanding! Please when reviewing always state what color you purchased, as it doesn’t show the color. So it’s helpful for others considering a certain color. Hope my tip helps those complaining about the inserts not being firm enough. Remember Linen Fabrics are not meant to have a polished look to them, they’re meant to be wrinkled & soft.
