Super scratchyAnnetteI bought two sets of these sheets for my new apartment. I watched them and they were still too itchy so I washed them again with fabric softener and there was no change. I tried to take them back to IKEA but was told I couldn’t return them since I had washed them. They say on the package they get softer with each wash, but they don’t seem any softer. I’m really disappointed. I shopped at IKEA all the time and spend a lot of money there. It’s frustrating that they wouldn’t take it back.1
Quality bedding for the price.LeroyThe Dvala queen size sheet set is a good buy for the price. They sleep comfortably even though the thread count is only 152. And the fitted sheet will accommodate a 12 inch mattress.4
Good price and 100% cottonCristianI'm using these for rental properties and like them.5
Good for the priceEvanDecent quality for the price. Not the softest but still good sheets.4
.Petergreat set of sheets5
Durable SheetsMichaelFit perfectly on rather thick memory foam mattress and hold up well in washing machine. These are my third set I have purchased.5
Comfortable, coolValerieI don't find these "scratchy" at all. They definitely aren't satin or percale, but more like old-time cotton sheets. My only issue is that after a few years they do seem to develop holes and tear easier. But I don't find that I sleep hot in them.4
DisappointedLexSheet are not white!1
Smell & feel is horridEmilyThe smell taking these out of the package was awful!!! Had to wash 3 times before using. So hard & rigid before & after the washing.1
good sheetsJohnThey're a good bargain, but the single, long-stitch hemming isn't going to hold up3
Stiff and roughAngelinaFelt like thin canvas, very rough on the skin. Washed with fabric softener to try and help and it did not. Disappointing quality1
Breathable sleeping all night through - ahhhJillI also got the duvet cover in this threadcount as well. These Dvala sheets plus the similar duvet cover allows the right amount of air to pass through. I love that I am just-right warm beneath my feather comforter. All night. I used to have so much trouble becoming hot in sleep -throwing off the covers- but since I discovered that low thread count actually is better than high thread count for that, nothing beats IKEA Dvala. It’s the only kind of bedding I want anymore.5
Very roughMariaSheets are too rough. Don’t feel comfortable.2
100% Burlap?JillTruly the worst sheets I've ever slept on. They are rough, scratchy, and stiff - even after washing with fabric softener. I only kept them on my bed one night. My husband and I wondered if they were made out of recycled IKEA bags. I've never had any strong opinions about thread count, until now.1
ComfyAdrianaSuper lux feeling and a great price5
Nice sheetsGuadalupeThey’re a little scratchy and not as soft but if you don’t mind that then you’ll like them.5
Too blueIngridLoved the softness of cotton sheets. Elastic was sturdy but it wasn't the precise blue I needed. It needed to be a lighter blue.4
Nice Cotton Sheet SetPaulaI like the cotton option of this bedsheet set. I already own this in a different color so I know how they feel. These are not satiny soft, a bit coarse, but that doesn't bother me. I like the breathability and freshness of the sheets. With continued use and washing, they do soften a bit.5
Nice but a bit scratchyMariannI bought these despite the low thread count (152 tpi). They fit well, washed beautifully, and look very nice with the new comforter (Brudkrusbär). But they are a bit scratchy. I expect they will soften over time. My IKEA sheets from 20 years ago still look and feel good, so I have hope for these.4
