Perfect seat padJaneI bought these to replace the slightly larger size that was too big for my seat cushion covers. They aren’t extremely cushy, but that’s exactly what I wanted. Just a slim seat pad to soften an outdoor adirondack chair.5
Check your cover dimensionJaneI bought the 19-5/8x19-5/8” size to replace older inserts. The pads are well made, comfortable and well-priced, but they were too large to fit correctly inside my older Jarpon cushion covers that are marked as 20x20”. I crammed them in, but they look uneven and lumpy. I’m hoping they flatten out over time and use. So be aware: if you are looking to replace older inserts, your cushion covers need to be several inches larger than these insert cushions.4

The chair cushions were comfortable when used with Tegelon. I’m not sure how comfortable would they be if used on firmer chairs.

What is foam?

Foam is excellent as upholstery in seating and mattresses since it provides good comfort and can relieve pressure by moulding to the body. Depending on the properties and feel you’re looking for, there are several qualities to choose from, like high-resilience foam and memory foam. The raw material for foam was previously based entirely on virgin fossil materials. But today, together with our suppliers, we’ve begun developing a material that is renewable and recycled.
