Great Build, material and looksJuanBought this for my game room. I have a 65in TV hanging over it and, proportion-wise it looks great over this tv console. Not too big or too small for that size TV. Drawers are good and good cubby style shelves. Have my PS5 in the middle one and it fits good.

Beware! Easy to damage LilyI was so excited about this piece - it was relatively easy to assemble however power tools make the job a lot easier. It does look gorgeous however just like my bed frame this is so easy to damage. Any bump will cause the “wood” to chip, I haven’t even had it a month and I have two very noticeable chips when nothing extreme has happened to the furniture. I remember ikea being better quality about 10 years ago and I’m sad it’s not what I remember.

Perfect size and height for our 65 inch tvPaWe chose this because it was the perfect size and height to hold our 65 inch tv. Love the drawers so we can put things in there without looking like clutter.
Bad pilot holesRobertThe pre drilled holes were too deep. When tightening the top to the base a wooden dowel punched through. It is easy to assemble though.
Sagging TopTracieWe loved this TV unit when we first set it up. Our 65' TV sits on top with legs on each side. It looks really nice in our space and the drawers glide very smoothly. But after a year, I start to see a noticeable sagging and warping of the top panel where the legs of the TV touches the stand. IKEA claims that Brimnes TV units have a weight limit of 66 lbs, but my TV is only 38 lbs. It's a shame because we do like the stand if only didn't warp at the top.

Absolutely cheap IsiomaWhat a waste of money. I haven’t even had this set up a full month and there are random swollen bumps all over the tv stand - top, sides and inside the spaces. It looks awful.
IKEA needs to invest in better assembly instructionsJohnWe like our new TV stand. However, with all the money that IKEA makes, they need to invest in providing better assembly instructions. It took two capable people almost 6 hours to put our stand together. The instructions are pictures only with no written direction and the pictures are not always a clear representation. Thank God for YouTube. There was a guy on there who assembled it methodically spoon, feeding you every step of the way. There were a couple Small blemishes on the laminate But in places that are not visible. After finally putting everything together, couple of the drawers would get stuck looking at the rails we could see they were barely hitting small screws in the rails. The trick is to really tighten those screws as much as possible without crossing the fine line of stripping them because just having them snug didn’t do the trick. Now that it’s done, we do really like it. It was just hell getting there.
