Incredible storage capacityLindaI thought this was going to be a pain to put together but the only struggle was leveling the doors and even then, using a drill it wasn't awful. The quality is great and it's stylish. My only issue was that it scratched easily. Not even sure how it happened :( I did purchase a clear vinyl protector for the top so that my cats don't scratch it when they jump onto it. I absolutely love it!

Love them! ❤️ ZaneatheaI purchased 2 of these sideboards a little over two years ago and I love them. They were easy to put together and are pretty sturdy. I put them together by myself; however, I wish I had a pair of hands to help for some parts of the process. I changed the handles out to brushed silver, which elevated the look. I am about to purchase two more of these for my kitchen. I plan to use one to store my air fryer and electric grill on to free up some counter space and the other, I’m going to add a countertop to and make an island. These are the perfect height!
Good quality and easy to assembleRebeccaAs the title says, this was a great little cabinet that I paired with the Brimnes dresser for a clean, built-in look in my walk in closet. With some moulding and color matched paint, it looks like a professional job. So happy with this purchase!

Beautiful, great doors, great customer serviceMarcelaI'm very happy with this cabinet overall. It looks striking and feels very solid, and if it needs to be moved around it's fairly sturdy (not too high, with a solid base). Installation was very easy, including door assembly.
The backing does need to be nailed in (~30 small nails?), that does lead to a clean look but may be worth considering (takes a bit more time and noise/makes disassembly difficult, but was very easy with the provided guide tool). I tried moving the cabinet after attaching the rubber pads, and one of them broke out and couldn't be put back since the surface they're attached to is just particleboard. The cabinet is still fully usable - I'd just recommend being more careful if you're moving it.
I have to shout out IKEA here as well - a wooden piece was lost after a snowstorm complicated delivery, and IKEA sent that piece at no extra cost, and with an accurate delivery estimate when I called for an update. Really appreciate the quick service!

Sturdy and attractiveJohnI have three of these (2 black, 1 white) and am about to buy another white one. They are very easy to assemble, and they are rather roomy. I have the two black ones placed immediately next to each other, and they make a very nice buffet table. I admit it can be a little tricky to get the doors to line up.

Assembling instructions should improveAnonymous reviewerI recently bought a Brimnes cabinet in store. I was able to assemble it in accordance with the instructions provided. However, upon finishing the assembling, a wide gap appeared between the two doors. There is no clear instruction about how to align the doors and close the gap. This took a while to fix. Thanks to a YouTube video that demonstrated the way to fix it. IKEA should provide clear instructions in the manual about how to handle the door installation and the adjustment.

What is particleboard?
Particleboard is made from recycled wood and sawmill leftovers – so wood pieces with the wrong shade, woodchips and sawdust become a resource instead of possibly being discarded. We use boards for things like bookcases, bed frames, sofas and kitchen frames. To protect from wear and moisture, we apply varnish, veneer or foil that adds to the furniture's look.
