Cuter than in photos, and very sturdy.CourtneySuch a cute little desk. I love that it’s so cute (cuter than in photos) and can fit in any spot; though I also would like a larger version of it to be a real office desk! Very sturdy once put together, no wobbling, feels heavy. It is rather complex to put together, but it’s my first IKEA product and I was able to do it. The slender board that fits between the top and the shelf, split on both ends when I screwed into it per instructions; and it did this before I even had the screw in all the way so it wasn’t bc of overtightening. This was the only defect in my box. Hopefully IKEA will replace that board that split. I am happy to find a product that is real wood. I wish they had used hardwax oil on that real wood instead of water based poly and acrylic paint. Please use linseed oil wax and paint in future! esp on solid wood.
Great reading deskCassidyI really like this desk for reading and studying. It's a great desk for a college student doing homework without needing a laptop.
