The color is way lighter than pics on the website...OliverSince Ikea doesn't seem to stock the HEDEVIKEN in my region anymore, this the next best choice. However, the color in person is way lighter than the images online. The good news is that the oak veneer is actually real wood and not sealed, you can stain it, which is what I did.

Serves the Purpose...P...but the finish is strange. The color of the Bjorkoviken appears overwhelmingly brown, but when you get it into a room with wood furniture it becomes apparent just how GREY the tint is. The appearance here has more in common with Ivar, than with Besta.
