IKEA's Staple!AnastasiyaOh great Billy, lol! I bought several sets of these over the years. The versatility of the book cases speaks for itself. Just when I thought and the assembly couldn't get any easier, the back panel installation got some more engineering applied to it.
DisappointedJohnh.These bookshelves are not well built. When I started putting books on the shelves, the shelves collapsed, even though I properly had them together. They are not meant to hold books. I do not recommend these bookshelves.
Billy BookcasesJohnh.A couple weeks ago my wife and I bought Billy bookcases from you. We put them together and when I was putting my books on those bookcases, the bookcase is fell apart. Before I put the books on the bookcases, we made sure that everything was tight and everything was together which it was. When I started to put books on the first shelf, the bookcase fell apart and also those books doubled on me. I do not recommend these bookcases to me. They are dangerous. They cannot carry books. I would like to return these bookcases.
BookcaseTunyaThe bookcase was easy to assemble,but the grommets that hold the shelves to the sides are plastic now and did not hold well. Bring back the metal grommets. I had to use glue to hold it together.
A Great BookshelfMatthewOrdered this bookshelf online after seeing it in store. Got it delivered without issue. Pretty easy to put together and feels sturdy. Really appreciate the baseboard cutouts that keep the bookshelf flush against the wall. Holds all of my books and collectibles and looks very good. I would definitely buy another one to hold more items. Overall, quality and value are high.

The new foil overlay will not holdNicoleI am so disappointed in these bookshelves. We just moved homes and we had Billy's that were almost 20 years old in our old house that we didn't want to move so we bought new ones. They're using a new technique to cover it and this is not going to hold. If you have children in your house, do not buy them. My partner and I use the utmost care to putting these together including blankets all over the floor and there are already scratches and dents all over the bookcases not to mention the defects they came with from the factory that we didn't catch before. I'm going to have to go to the hardware store to see if I can get matching paint to touch it up, but these are not going to last more than a few years if that.

Different shadeMarisaDark brown oak effect: After a yr and a half we realized we needed one more bookcase...well, now I'm sitting here with a bookcase that is a few shades lighter then the older bookcases. The finish is different, as well, which is fine, but it seems they didn't even try to get to the same shade they had before. Extremely disappointed.
