Deceptive ListingJustinI want to start off by saying that the bookcase appears to made of good material. However there are many steps along the process I am unsatisfied with.
First the shipping process was confusing, we elected for a local store pickup and were given conflicting information that caused us to almost miss our pickup window. Luckily the driver was kind and as helpful as possible.
Second and most important, I purchased a double bookcase and received two individual bookcases, this is understandable and I'm fine with that. However there is no mention of needing to purchase additional hardware to actually attach the two separate bookcases together to reflect the main image shown.
I called customer service and after 35 minutes the best solution I was offered was to purchase the Eket Connection Hardware. This would be ok too if I wasn't required to make a $35 purchase in order to receive it. I was told I'd need to order additional unwanted items to get it shipped or drive 4 hours to the store.
Good quality bookcaseDavidI purchased a number of those bookcases and had a good experience with them. They are sturdy and can accommodate a lot of books.

Nice!RavenDecent price! Very sturdy! The dark wood matches all my other furniture. The first one I built was a bit difficult. It's very large and heavy, I needed help scooting it across the carpet. I do wish it came with more shelves and brackets. I only keep books / movies on three of the shelves but if I wanted to keep books on all of them I would need to buy more of the moveable shelves or have a very large gap at the bottom and top. Luckily! I have other, taller cool things to store, so it isn't a problem yet. I think it was worth the money and time I spent :)

Best Bookcase EverCherylI have purchased several Billy bookcases over the years for my expanding collection of books and knick knacks. They have endured being moved to various houses and various rooms within those houses. I recently suggested Billy to a friend who had moved and still had all of her books still in boxes. We made an unused bedroom into a wonderful library/study for her that she loves with her lifetime collection of books and artwork. The bookcases are sturdy, but light enough for one person to move when adjustable shelves are removed. She also liked the fact that they can be secured to a wall for safety and can be customized with doors, more shelves, height extensions, etc and come in various colors at an affordable price.
