Best Bookcase EverCherylI have purchased several Billy bookcases over the years for my expanding collection of books and knick knacks. They have endured being moved to various houses and various rooms within those houses. I recently suggested Billy to a friend who had moved and still had all of her books still in boxes. We made an unused bedroom into a wonderful library/study for her that she loves with her lifetime collection of books and artwork. The bookcases are sturdy, but light enough for one person to move when adjustable shelves are removed. She also liked the fact that they can be secured to a wall for safety and can be customized with doors, more shelves, height extensions, etc and come in various colors at an affordable price.
New LibraryNoahUsed these combined with the thinner version to create some beautiful built in shelves for a home library. One coat of primer, and two coats of paint on the whole thing worked perfectly.

She has been buying hardback books she likes and wanted someplace nice to store them and her other treasures. She was so excited when she found out we bought another for her, and we had “stored” it in her house so it didn’t need to be transported again.
