Good value for a home libraryDarrenBeen expanding my home library, and these Billy cases appear more solid than Billy cases from a decade ago; I also appreciate the rounded edges which are also new from the older version.
My one complaint is they got rid of the older colors so I couldn't get an exact match to my previous Billy cases. Also, the material doesn't cut as cleanly when trying to make some modifications to fit my space better. But all-in-all, it's excellent value for the cost.

DisappointedAmberThe most recent Billy bookcase I purchased was subpar when compared to ones purchased before. They were made with thinner wood product and when attaching the back panel with the provided nails it damaged the shelving in a visible area. This was never a problem with the old product. Shame on Ikea for taking a once great product and making it flimsy and cheap. What was once a 5 star product is now a zero. I will not be purchasing these again.

Just what we needed!NikkiThe bookcases are nearly perfect. We used these as built ins with some customization from our contractor. The only thing is wish they were a tad bit deeper as we also installed doors and are pretty limited in what we can fit in the cabinets. Otherwise they look amazing!
