DO NOT BUY!!!!!!CarlaPlease do not waste your money. As the other reviews stated, this unit sways and very unstable. I connected it to the wall and it was still unstable! I went back and forth with customer service for a month just for them to offer me to return it. Discount would be better because this item is not worth $260. Returning items are a hassle. I no longer have the box and Ikea is 40 minutes away.
The worst!KeelyI’ve built 2 IKEA kitchens and found them fairly easy to assemble and adjust. This cabinet is terrible. Door hinges won’t adjust properly. Very unstable. I’m returning it. It’s too bad. It looks nice in the picture and suits my space well.
Worst experience with IKEA product ever!AnonymousI’ve purchased & assembled IKEA products for 30 years. Never have I come across a product that is so lacking in quality. There are only 8 screws that hold the frame together. The screws are so poor quality & strip as you hand tighten them because the factory pilot wholes are too tight. Save your wrists, shoulders & palms and use power drill despite instruction manual saying not to! The round anchors that hold the screws in place are now made of plastic! They used to be metal. Sliding the paperboard backing requires three sets of hands or it will crack. The frame wobbles badly even with shelves in. You must anchor this unit to the wall. We had to go to Home Depot to buy ‘L’ brackets to mount it to the wall. The long screws provided are only good if you’re aligned with a stud.
I am so disappointed in the quality of this product and advise that you find something else. Although I suspect the quality of other products will, manufactured in the last 2-3 years, will be just as shoddy.
Truly unstableSabeenIkea products are usually built to last but this besta unit sways like its ready to do a hula dance. The plastic inserts are no help (where metal was usually provided), and without some sort of support from the back, it is really a disappointment.
Looks and size wise it's great and just what we needed, but due to the quality of the build, we're needing to throw this out and buy something entirely different. Save your cash and buy an alternative. (Billys are still the best TBH).

Versatile and affordableAmyI installed this unit in my entryway to hold all my families shoes. I couldn’t be happier. My husband has very large shoes and other shoe storage solutions do not work. I have eight shelves in here and it holds the shoes for a family of four including snow boots! I would never find anything like this at another store - I know because I searched for months!

What is constructed board?
We use constructed boards when manufacturing many of our pieces of furniture, such as tables and wardrobes. They are light yet still stable and strong. Each board has a frame made of chipboard, fiberboard or solid wood, while the inside is a honeycomb filling structure made of mostly recycled paper, which is extra durable thanks to its special construction. The board is then covered with a protective paint, foil or veneer depending on the style wanted.
