So so disappointed!SabrinaI wanted the duvet cover with this pattern, but since it’s not sold in a king size anymore, I opted to try this. I’m so so disappointed! My last duvet cover from IKEA was great and lasted 7 years. It took me a long time to finally break down and get something new after the old one was developing holes. Many of the reviews mentioning issues with washing and drying it which I thankfully didn’t have, but after I washed it, it was so itchy! The material was so soft at the store and now it’s so itchy that even my two young kids even complained about it. Please save yourself the money and don’t risk getting it!
burnt & crunchy after 1st wash!!!Lizi loved this comforter… perfect design, feel and warmth. however, upon drying it for the first time it came out with burnt orange spots all over and was very crunchy. not how a normal comforter should turn out. i am extremely disappointed in IKEA for continuing to sell a product with tons of negative reviews all containing the same issue and continuing to fail to improve the quality! save your money and keep looking elsewhere. IKEA’s response to this review will be the same as others, careless, copy and pasted. my comforter is ruined and $90 is gone. shoppers, if you see this don’t end up like the rest of us. i bought mine in store and was unaware of the extremely poor quality of the product and customer service. IKEA however is more than aware of this issue, refuses to improve quality like they say, is okay with taking your money & will not offer their longtime shoppers a replacement (if receipt is unavailable). IKEA, do right by your customers and own up to your wrong doings! shame.
Nice qualityJoanNice, heavy outside material. Insert is quite thick. Should be warm in the winter months. Good color. Pillow shams say standard, but fit king pillows. The only complaint would be the material tends to wrinkle. Great price!

RuinedBriannaIt is a beautiful and good weight comforter, unfortunately it was ruined after the first wash. My college bound daughter was super excited to take this comforter with her, but now it is ruined after washing it! Not sure if IKEA will take it back.

Great comforter and wash went well despite other reviewsRebeccaBought comforter, not reading reviews, brought it home, loved it ! upon that I was reading the reviews as to people were saying that their comforter was ruined after washing. I was kind of nervous upon my first wash of my comforter, but I must say I washed it in cold water And I dried it on a medium hot temperature and my blanket is perfectly fine. There was no burning or crunching of my blanket at all and it’s nice and fluffy. Maybe other people just overdried it on a super high hot temperature but other than that I love my blanket. It’s super Light in the summer and I know it will be great in the winter months. My suggestion is just wash it cold water dry it on a medium heat and every five minutes turn your blanket so it doesn’t roll in a ball in the dryer so it can dry evenly on all sides.

Crunchy ComforterShannonI should have read the reviews before buying. Super soft comforter but when following directions for wash/dry, like others have mentioned, the filling melts and the result is a bunch of crunchy patches throughout the comforter. It ruins the product.
Nice ComforterWilliamNice soft and very warm winter comforter. The green stripe is a nice color and accents well. Good value for the money and is well constructed. Not sure about the other negative reviews, but I haven't tried to launder it yet. I'll probably try dry cleaning to prevent those issues described. My only complaint is that the comforter came out of the package with some deep set wrinkles in the cloth that haven't gone away after 3 months. I might try a steamer to see if that helps.
Crunchy and ruined, do not buy!EmilyI bought this comforter because it felt soft and looked beautiful. However, like all the other reviews are saying, after one wash it became crunchy. It sounds like there's a bag of chips sown into it. I followed exact instructions. Do not buy this comforter! I agree that they should take it off of shelves. I will be returning.
Poor quality, should be taken off shelvesDenalyBought this comforter in store, so I wasn't aware of all of the negative reviews. I tumble dried it on low per the instructions before my first use, and the inside polyester melted! Now there are spots where the comforter is crunchy/melted into the cotton covering. I'm not sure why they continue to sell this comforter when this repeatedly happens, as one can see from the many reviews. Multiple people have had to throw it out afterwards, which is such a waste of materials. I'm very disappointed with the low quality of this IKEA product.
Don’t waste your moneyMiaDried comforter on low and parts of stuffing became hard and caused the fabric to stick together and turn brown. Customer service hasn’t been helpful and wont replace it. So save your time and money and don’t purchase!!
