Wanted to use as kids book shelvesKaraLoved this in Ikea's display room with the kids book and it provided a solution for having books in my kids room without a big bookcase - however, when I tried to actually hang on the wall I ran into issues. Couldn't mount it so it stayed flush with the wall. Attempted nails and screws. The shelf hung loose and so didn't work for what I was hoping for. Needed to return and sad it didn't work. Granted it might be because of the material my wall is made of? IDK. Now need to figure out a different way to clean up the books.
Spice rack turned book display. AmandaI'm sure this is a great spice rack, but we use it as a little book display for children's' books. I love the clean lines and the fact that it's made from real wood. We will be hanging a few of these to display all of our library books for the week!

WORST Design, missing parts and waste of timeTanveerHow can simplest rack can be designed so poorly. This is one perfect example. Does not come with wall attachment so it’s pain when you try to screw to wall and did fit right even after spending hours.
Very bad job with overall design. DO NOT recommend !!
Practical, priced rightDavidI like that they are wood, so it's easy to get a custom fit by cutting them down to a shorter length to fit inside my cabinet door. To the hardware-challenged: one trip to a hardware store will get you a pack of flat-head wood screws that fit the brackets; if you are mounting on drywall, get some plastic screw anchors too.

A pain to install!SarahThese are a huge hassle to install as the measurements need to be incredibly precise and, as someone else mentioned, it's difficult to find the right size screws, which need to fit perfectly in order to be compatible. These shelves really should come with the screws for hanging them. Ikea's response to another review on this page says, "wall/ceiling screws are not included... as different wall materials require different types of fasteners." This doesn't make sense -- most people have drywall or plaster walls, and a lot of shelves come and racks come with hardware included! Anyway, the shelves are inexpensive, but buy at your own risk and know they will be very time-consuming to install.
They won't stay up :(AngelaI love these. I have a huge spice collection and wanted something uniformed so they could live on the wall above my stove. BUT THEY WONT HANG! I've put in the hardware and they won't secure into the shelf. Now I'm stuck with a ton of shelves I can't hang!! :(
Great spice rack holds more than I thought.NezzieThe spice rack holds more than I thought . It's not too big where you can put it in different small spaces. I would definitely recommend it for my friends. If you have tight spaces and you need something for your spices it is ideal you can also put it behind the door of your cabinets.

Great as a bookshelfAnnaThis works so well a bookshelf for my nursery. I love that I can paint in any color or leave it in the original pine without it looking unfinished. It was easy to put together using the hardware that was included. I’ll be back to buy more!

So helpful on the back of a stoveEstherI’ve used these before. The one I bought had a slight defect. Robot assembler took a holiday perhaps? So far it works fine.
Nice shelfTammyI bought two shelves and glued them together. I bought a wall rack and screwed it to the bottom. So it’s double the length with a towel holder attached. I stained it black and put it in the bathroom. It was easy to assemble and a great little project.
