Attractive, functional and excellent value curtain rodsPeterWe purchased 8 sets to cover 7 windows and 1 patio door. Each set comes with 2 rods, one of which slides inside the other to make it adjustable in length. Adjustable depth mounting brackets are provide with a separate cover to hide the screws. No screws/anchors are provided (IKEA item 505.566.95).
For the patio doors we used 2 sets, so that you have an outer rod at each end with and interior rod connecting them (minimum length this way was 86.5").
Installation was straightforward and they look excellent. These sets represent excellent value and we intend to buy more.
Improvements that would be useful:
1. The ability to extend the arms further: At the maximum extension that we were comfortable with, the folds of the curtain panels touch the walls when the curtains are fully open (fully folded). This could be a problem if you have very much trim around you windows.
2. Product sticker on the rod easier to remove or aligned with endcap screw so it can be turned to the back/top.

Sturdy and quality curtain rodCindyThis curtain rod seems sturdy and exactly as advertised. The only thing is I needed to purchase screws to attach to wall as it doesn't come with screws.
Good quality, but the finish is too shiny - looks cheapLoganWe bought these thinking the gold finish would be matte/brushed like the pictures. When we received them, they are very shiny which makes them look cheap. We will be returning them.

BUT for some reason they do not include the actual screws to install them on the wall which I found really weird. Never have I seen that before with any other curtain rods I've purchased.

Not as expectedAmandaOrdered 4 in black for our bedroom after buying the dual rod for our living room. The end caps were glossy compared to the rod which is a matte black. The brackets were different than expected. We didn't realize they'd be smaller since pictures / measurements were not provided. Not worth the hassle and price to return. We'll have to order other brackets and end caps.
Brass finish shinier than online pictureDonnaWe were very pleased with the quality and materials of the rods as I had read previous reviews about the need for securing your own hardware for attachment to our walls. But I was a bit disappointed by the brass finish as the picture appears to be a more matte gold/brass look. Also it fingerprinted/ “smudged” somewhat which I didn’t care for. But after spending an afternoon assembling and installing, it is what it is so we will live with it and it looks overall great with the panel drapes we selected.
