Wipe dry with a clean cloth.
Always wipe surfaces of stainless steel lengthwise for an even, shiny finish.

Do not use scouring-powder, steel wool, hard or sharp tools which can scratch the stainless steel surface.

With BÅTSKÄR outdoor kitchen, you can rinse, chop, fry, grill and mingle with your guests in the open air. Sure, if there’s a drizzle, you will have to go inside, but your kitchen will do just fine outside. We have made sure it can withstand not only water but also sun and wind.
“Many people have discovered how lovely it’s to cook outside but feel it’s hard to find an outdoor solution that is practical enough, but also durable and well-designed. We wanted to solve that with BÅTSKÄR,” says Gunilla Hansson, product developer.

A place to gather around
For Gunilla and the team it was important to bring the aesthetic aspect outdoors. BÅTSKÄR has clean lines, a matte-grey finish and specially designed knobs and handles. “We didn’t want to only contribute to smooth and practical cooking, but also create a lovely environment with room for everyone to gather and enjoy new flavors and food experiences.” And maybe when we move outdoors, our shoulders go down and we become a little more free. The cooking suddenly feels like a pleasure, even on a Monday evening.

What is stainless steel?
Stainless steel is found in everything from building structures and cars to sinks and knives. It’s easy to see why it has so many uses. Stainless steel is hard and durable and has good resistance to corrosion – namely rust. It generally has a low nickel content, and for IKEA products we mainly use stainless steel that’s nickel-free. Like many other metals, it can be recycled again and again to become new, hardwearing items – without losing its valuable properties.
