BÅRSLÖV sofa-bed comes with soft shapes and generously sized, comfortable cushions that make it a perfect place to sink into.
This sofa converts into a spacious bed really quickly and easily, when you pull the underframe upwards and fold down the backrest
Large practical storage space under the seat.
The cover has been treated with easy-care, which means that spills won’t seep into the fabric, but stay on the surface and are easily absorbed with a dry cloth.
The fixed sofa cover is made of TIBBLEBY, a dope-dyed polyester fabric with a soft surface, light luster and a discreet herringbone pattern.

Horrible quality. Does not age well.AymerickVery disappointed in this product. I've had it for a year and the space between cushions sagged, causing spring to stick out. This makes it very uncomfortable to sit on. In addition the "bed" mode is very uncomfortable and firm. I regret this purchase.
Great Sleeper Sofa!MarySuper comfy to sleep on (no bar), just a bit firm. Great storage, keeps extra sheets blankets and pillows handy, and ready for guests. Love the slightly furry feel of the easy-care tweed fabric.

Sagging issues XiaIt's very useful sofa when I had visitors stay with us. It has big storage under the seat. But, as multiple reviewers wrote, between the seat cushions, has been deformed and the springs stick out. After a year, the couch is sagging in two places——the joints of the cushions, I can easily feel the metal pieces. I don't know what to do now. I like this sofa, but for now it's really uncomfortable and not looking good. I don’t think it’s worth it to pay over $1000 for just a-year-used sofa. Is it still on guarantee?
Wasted our money, horrible qualityPamWe bought this couch for a few reasons: loved the style and size, needed a sleeper sofa, and the ad for it showed how stain resistant it was. We purchased this 9 months ago, and after 9 months of normal use, we are beyond disappointed with this couch. 1) It stains so easily and is SO hard to keep clean because the cushions are attached. Even water drips leave stains we can’t get out. It’s so frustrating. 2) the sleeper sofa is easy to pull out but so uncomfortable to sleep on. The cushions are extra firm and because half of the sleeper portion is the back of the couch, the two “sides” to the bed when unfolded are unevenly worn. We had to buy a mattress cover to make it comfortable for our guests. 3) One of the seat cushions, as another reviewer also wrote, has been deformed and the springs stick out. I cut apart the cushion seam, pulled the cushion back above the springs and resowed it closed and it immediately happened again once a NORMAL sized adult sat on it. What a waste of $1,000

The couch is sagging in two places. If you sit on the joints of the cushions, you're hammering in the metal pieces. I don't know what to do now. I like this sofa, the color, the style, but for now it's uncomfortable. Is it still on guarantee?
Great Sofa!StarrDon't let the big box fool you! Well, my husband actually toted it but he managed. Reviews saying that there were missing parts and difficult to put together were sorely mistaken. He put this sofa together with a little lift help from me and then we slept on it! Yes, it is firm, but quite comfortable... better than a pull out. Great value! Great sofa!
Requires modifications to assemblePaulI took pictures to show the parts that were incorrectly assembled in factory and that required my modifications to put together but it looks like Ikea does not allow upload of pics. Suffice it to say i had to use an electric drill and construction screws to assemble one corner piece that was installed backwards, and i had to use a circular saw to cut a piece of wood to enable it to slide into the other part. so if you've got patience, power tools and hardware available to make the necessary modifications, great. if not, don't buy this couch. you won't be able to assemble it. i will say, once we finally did get it put together it functions as we desired and fits in the space we have for it. so i'm giving this product a 2 stars - all the stars are for functionality. everything else is a zero. do not buy this couch unless you have tools and construction knowhow.
Cute and deep seat!RameeCannot rate assembly as I used taskrabbit. I prefer this to the Friheten - it's still on the firm side but feels more plush including the arm rests. My favorite part of the couch is the DEEP seats - you can sit criss cross very comfortably. I like the rounded shape better as well and find it easier to turn into a sofa bed. LOVE the inside storage I keep my extra bedding and towels there which is perfect for my small apartment. They didn't have the blue swatch at my Ikea but it worked out - pretty true to online.

Very uncomfortable and hard to put together Anonymous reviewerUnlike other Ikea couches, this one in particular is very hard to put together. Once you have put it together and you ready to try it out, prepare for a very uncomfortable sleep. I dont know if Ikea just like it rough, but we ' re talking firmer than a rock. I bought a mattress topper. To make it the 'perfect' storm, the size is very non - standard ( by two inches) when expanded so no fitted sheets would actually work...

Comfortable and SturdyAbhijeetI have been using this sofa for almost 2 months now. The cushion is very stiff and the quality feels good. A bit similar to FRIHETEN, but this one is deeper, has more storage space (volume), and looks much better than the very common FRIHETEN.
