CO2 reading too high. Need firmware fix.SukCO2 reading in lower range 300 to 500 is relatively accurate but in anything higher range like overnight in bedroom is too high compared to other meter (I have to subtract 600 from its reading to get reasonable level). Please fix this by firmware update. In addition, there's no way to change Temperature unit to Fahrenheit in the Google Home. Otherwise it's solid thread device.2
temperature off by almost 10fEricI want to love it, checks all the boxes for me... But if the temp is off by so much, it's hard to have faith in other sensors being very accurate. The instructions don't seem to have a way to calibrate it.3
Small but mightyJorgeThis is a really tiny little device that works well. I got it for co2 sensing in my bedroom/office. Good thing i did the censor went orange as soon as i connected it, until i turned on the fan. Now i know when to turn on the fan/ open a window. Also i dont have it connected to any hub so if your wondering if you need a hub for it to work. Anyways solid product for the price need one in every room with people in it.5
Great clock that happens to be an air quality monitor ShaneEven though this first is an air quality monitor, it’s a great clock, it can sync time via Matter over thread. Dims its display based on lighting in the room. Its display can even be turned off at night! 5
Matter + ThreadSteveLike all of the new IKEA home automation lineup does, this uses Matter + Thread (and is not very clear about it). If you only have Matter + Wifi this won't work for you. Once you get past that problem and set up a Matter + Thread network (or use the IKEA hub), it's actually quite nice.
This device stylizes itself as a little clock, with CO2, PM2.5, temperature, humidity, and "air quality". It connected to Home Assistant easily and updates its readings regularly. So far my main complaint is that there's no way to set what's being displayed remotely or set the time remotely - you can only turn on/off the display. It's possible that's a failure of the Home Assistant integration, but I'm not sure.
The CO2 readings didn't always match my Aranet sensor, but for the price, I'm not going to be that mad. It seemed within around 100-200 PPM most of the time.5
Works with Apple HomeJoannaA snap to add via iPhone. Here to purchase 2 more.5
Uses Thread & Great InformationMattSo I actually love that it uses Thread since that's a more robust standard (but does require a hub). I love the easy at a glance information and plan to get a few to place around the house.
Great for monitoring CO2 level and general air quality. Now I just need to figure out some cool automations to do with these :).5
High Quality Sensor, Reliable ConnectionTannerWas really pleased to see that this was a routing capable Thread device instead of being Wi-Fi enabled. I wouldn't want to have something so small and simple on my Wi-Fi.
As for the sensor itself, seems to be pretty high quality. The sample rate is extremely frequent (probably because no battery). I'm seeing no noise on any of the sensors. I also love that there is a Matter binding for turning the LED backlight on and off. This makes the device maximally useful, I can place it anywhere without having to worry about the burden of disabling or enabling the screen at any given location.
I joined it to my HomeAssistant without the use of any hub. Good job IKEA! This seems to be one of the best in the market right now.5
Works well with Home AssistantAjPaired easily with Home Assistant and all entities populated for monitoring. USB C powered. Buttons on the bottom are a bit confusing, but some trial and error explained what they do in terms of changing the clock and units on temp.5
Works perfect!KushalWorks perfect! Yes it needs a hub but any thread hub will work. Worked with Home Assistant with no issues. Reads CO2, PM2.5, Temp and Humidity5
Great thread deviceGarrettWorks great and with Apple home5
Uses Matter/Thread!JoshLove that it uses Matter/Thread. It means I'm not tied to any particular vendor. Alexa, Google Hubs, Apple Hubs, or an open source one like the Home Assistant Connect ZBT-1 / SkyConnect.
I'll have fully local control of this using Home Assistant (or Google or Apple or whatever), don't need to buy a proprietary hub, and I don't need a special app.
Looking forward to all of these Matter/Thread things, and the price is certainly right.5
Uses THREADFrankAll over the box it states this device is Matter compatible, so figured it would be Matter over wifi, until you read the tiny text in the manual that states it uses thread which is not wifi, and needs a hub, no thanks, going back to the store1
