This sofa has an effortless stylishness and straightforward exterior with a well-tailored soft cover and comfortable inner pocket springs. The slim legs reinforce the tranquil and airy look.

The neat and balanced silhouette combined with an expressive look is a perfect base for making the sofa more personal with cushions and throws.

We have made ÄPPLARYD sofa super comfy with soft covers and puffy cushions together with pocket springs that follow your body and support diverse positions – from sitting upright to lying down and relaxing.

Choose your ÄPPLARYD with a cover you like. Soft velvet Djuparp in single-toned deep dark blue or rusty reddish brown, or the two-toned grey cotton blend of Lejde with a clear texture and deep color.

Comes in different sizes and shapes to suit both small and large spaces.

The chaise longue can be placed either to the left or right, so you can adapt the sofa to your space and your preferences.

  • The velvet reflects light in a characteristic way which may make the color appear as if it changes.

    Press marks that may appear on the velvet usually disappear in time. With your hand, you can gently stroke in the direction of the pile or use a clothes brush. You can also use the vacuum cleaner with the soft nozzle.

    Small fibers may appear on velvet. It happens naturally and they disappear over time and can also be removed with a lint roller.

  • The cover has a lightfastness level of 5 (the ability to resist color fading) on a scale of 1 to 8. According to industry standards, a lightfastness level of 4 or higher is suitable for home use.This cover's ability to resist abrasion has been tested to handle 25,000 cycles. A cover that withstands 15,000 cycles or more is suitable for furniture that should withstand everyday use in the home.This seating furniture is tested and complies with relevant strength and durability standards. The tests simulate typical usage of the product and are based on use by persons weighing up to 242 lbs.

This is honestly such a comfy couch if you're more of a lounger/napper. Comfy for sitting as well but 10/10 for lounging!! Material feels high end as well as the cushions. Holds up really well.5

the off-gassing is out of controlLeeWe got this 6 months ago for a down-sizing parent, and put it together in about 2 hours (a two-person job; not easy, but doable). The off-gassing was overpowering---the worst I have ever witnessed. Orders of magnitude worse than being in a new car. We left windows and doors open, put on fans, etc. Because of weather (hot Arizona summers), we couldn't leave them open for long periods of time, but we kept opening them for a couple of hours in the early morning. Six months later, the off-gassing is STILL the first thing everyone (us included) notices upon entering the apartment. (People enter and immediately start offering tricks for getting rid of the smell; we've tried them all.) For the first few months, I couldn't spend more than 10 minutes in the apartment, because of the overpowering odor. At this point it looks like it will take a year for the off-gassing to finish. (It also picks up lint like crazy, but that is not a big deal; the odor however is unbearable.)2

Velvet
