Extremely sharp, fantastic balance!SelenaThese inexpensive knives have great blades that so far have kept their extremely sharp edges. The balance of all three knives is wonderful. The shape of the handle and the texture of the grip make them a pleasure to hold, even for long periods. My only reason for withholding a star is due to the permanent staining of the white handle after chopping 18 pounds of carrots. Even scrubbing the knife by hand immediately after use didn't bring back the original white and grey color. I never put my cooking knives in the dishwasher, to maintain the blades, even when the manufacturer claims it is safe to do so.

Great Knife Set at a Great DealRickThese knives are hard to beat. For inexpensive knives they have a nice balance, hold their edge well and are easy to maintain. I bought them as a started set for my daughter, and actually enjoyed using them myself. They cost significantly less than my personal chef's knife and perform almost as well.

Mom Really Likes This SetScottI bought the Ändlig set for my Mother for Christmas. She really likes it. However, while this was showing in-stock at the St. Louis IKEA store, I wasted my time and gasoline for nothing because not only was it not in stock (employee and I both searched), but the tag where it belongs was also missing. The mail order was slow, but thankfully it arrived before Christmas.
