One crib side can be removed when the child is big enough to climb into/out of the crib.

Round and soft design for delicate children
When your child can sit up, kneel or pull itself up, it’s time for the ÄLSKVÄRD cot. Like the bassinet and the changing table, it’s made of light bentwood and has soft, rounded shapes. “As a new parent, you may be sensitive to things that feel hard and sharp and want to surround your baby with soft and embracing shapes,” says Sarah. “The light wood also gives ÄLSKVÄRD a Scandinavian feel that’s timeless, perfect if you want the durable furniture to be inherited by siblings and friends.”
