    If You're Thinking of Purchasing an IKEA Kitchen, Please Read This First And Consider Other OptionsAlexanderWe ordered our new IKEA kitchen months ago, scheduling all deliveries well in advance. Unfortunately, we regret choosing IKEA. Our order was split into 3 deliveries; the first 2 arrived on time, but the 3rd was delayed by 2 weeks. On the new delivery date, nothing arrived. We found out the items hadn’t shipped and would be delayed another month. We were never informed. We only found out because WE called. By then, our kitchen was gutted and we were left without a working kitchen, still missing MANY essential items. Customer service blamed a warehouse fire but offered no solutions. Some items were canceled and refunded, with instructions to “check the website” for restocks. We’re left with a partially delivered kitchen. How are we supposed to install a kitchen that arrived incomplete? Customer service and the Pittsburgh store have been unhelpful. If you’re considering an IKEA kitchen, explore other options. Any savings were wiped out by delays, extra costs, and stress. 1
