Seriously? What was IKEA thinking?BoothUsually IKEA has pretty clear instructions and parts fit together intuitively. Not so for this corner piece. Both myself and husband puzzled over these (and he has an advanced science degree, I'm an engineer), and were baffled by the little plastic insert, whether they were supposed to fit easily or be forced into place, and bracket position and requirements. So cheap that we'll just keep and toss and return the rest unopened. Yuk1
Easy installation and functionality ZullyI was originally worried that the track would not slide smoothly into this curving piece. I found the installation process to be surprisingly easy. I was pleasantly surprised with how smooth track glide between both pieces was without getting caught.
I stalled directly to the ceiling.5
Gets stuckEvgeniyaToo bad I didn't believe previous reviews - same issue - it doesn't perfectly align with a straight ikea truck - always gets stuck. Also there is 3 track straight rail but no corner solution with 3 tracks - doesn't make lots of sense2
Great Connector for Ceiling TrackRussellGreat connector for a multiple windows on the same track.5
Can *only* use with the 4.75" wall bracketEmmaSo the idea behind this is that it helps block out light? But if you're using them with a wall bracket, you have to use the 4.75" bracket which means you would have a giant gap at the top which defeats the purpose. Super disappointing.2
Terrible corner solution.RobertThere are several issues with this exact piece- 1) the track is narrowed due to how it’s manufactured and caused the gliders to catch every time. They bind inside the track which shows it’s too narrow. 2) the plastic alignment/connector piece is flimsy and doesn’t do anything to hold the track together. The corners are incredibly difficult to align and the connectors don’t do anything to keep it secure. So after going through all the headache to “align” the track, then finding the glides bind up, I’m done with and returning the whole system because I need a corner solution and this just isn’t it.1
Can't be added to my existing vidga installRobertaBasically, won't work unless you already planned to have this installed into your rail.
I tried to add this to my existing vidga system cause I felt like the curtains didn't pull back enough ( I didn't tie it though) so I bought the 90° to give it more space. However it doesn't come with the connecting piece, so I had to dig around for an old one. When I finally looked at the instructions, it says this piece needs to be attached to the wall bracket. Unfor, my bracket is not at the end, but a couple inches in. I tried to only install with the connecting piece but it won't hold the weight. Need to return1
Does not line up with wall brackets and tracksRyanFor wall installation, the wall brackets and connecting tracks do no not line up, so it it probably not actually 90 degrees.2
