Brace that runs in the middle of the frame had a hole in the pictures but took care of that with a drill bit. There was also no screw. Went to Lowe’s to get a screw and that fixed it. I bought slats from ikea as well. Drawers are smooth and bed is overall sturdy. Don’t regret buying but did lose my patience a lot in the process.

Good bed, frustrating instructionsMichaelI had heard of Ikea's build instructions prior to attempting this bed. I went slowly and tried to follow these instructions. They are maddening. It's as if a mime is trying to tell you how to put something together. If Ikea is deadset against using words in their instructions, they should send a QR code to an instructional video. I made several mistake based on this and I'll use words here to help others, as Ikea refuses to use words in their 'instructions'.
1) The dowels do not go in every hole. Do not put them in the holes next to the recessed circles. If you have to tap them in, you likely don't need a dowel there.
2) There is no indication of which side the grain will be facing. on step 3, the headboard and board below will both be grain.
3) classic finger pointing to arrow. The metal disks have an arrow on them. The hex key and arrow should be visible when installed and the arrow should be pointing to the hole. This allows the rod to be pulled in.

Great bed terrible drawer quality ChaseVery satisfied with the bed frame, it is high quality and looks good. But the drawers are beyond bad. Only came with two drawer fronts so I’m having to order more and the quality of the particle board for all of them is the worst I’ve seen and I’ve had a lot of ikea furniture over the years. Pieces were flaking off out of the box and almost impossible to assemble. Definitively do not get the model with drawers, just get the regular one and find other storage.
High end lookLynneWe purchased the queen size and although a lot if steps was fairly easy to out together other than the directions could be clearers on how to place the metal support bar if you use the Lonset slats as they are deeper and you need to install the metal bar in the lowe position. Otherwise, we were very happy woth the overall appearance.

Drawers are a nightmare Ximena:( I had high hopes for this bed frame ..
it’s a bit tedious but expected. However the drawers made me really sad, they started falling apart at the corners, I have pieces of cheap wood all over from the corners breaking. And the slats don’t really connect easily, plus the connectors are plastic so it feels like they are connected to nothing. Definitely needs a better drawer assembly and quality :(
I mean, for the price, I was expecting a lot more :(
Beautiful bed, annoying build experience BetsyLet’s just say this bed has some issues… One piece had the hole about 1 mm off, so I had to fix it with my drill. It only comes with the exact number of screws, so if you mess up, you’re stuck going to buy more and the screws strip super easily. Other than that, the bed looks very aesthetic and comfortable

Difficult assemblyRebeccaI’ve had this bed over a year and have noticed some of the same issues as others w/ the cheap flat pack materials. I know IKEA instructions are never easy to follow but the drawer section was laughably frustrating. I got three drawer tracks to work after having multiple friends try their hand at it but one drawer is just impossible. I live in an apt and am not looking forward to moving and disassembling all this. It’s not worth the price imo and I’ll never get a bed with drawers again
