Very Creaky & LoudParisI love the look. I like Ikea for furniture vs other companies as I feel Ikea is an organized & professional company.
However, this bed frame is so creaky. Every small movement I make, this bed frame creaks so loud. I live in an apartment & I have to feel worried that it will literally wake my downstairs neighbor up bc it is that loud. Literally just basic small movements, turning over, etc this bed creaks. It was making noise right after I put it together.
Please make a twin bed frame that doesn't creak. I would pay more $ for it.

Attractive simple bed SarahAssembly was straight forward and rather easy in terms of IKEA products. The side slats were tricky if not pressed in far enough for the bolt to catch, but once I got it close enough to the headboard it all went smoothly from there. I read the description before purchase so I knew the materials used for this bed were not of premium quality. We had a few scratches on the head board straight out of the box & just assumed it was from friction when being shipped. It’s small enough we can live with it, but I’m not confident its polished appearance will withstand the test of time. Regardless, our child loves this bed so far and feels very sophisticated with the walnut finishing of her choice.
Great Bed for a "Big Boy"JessicaWe got the twin Songesand bed to match the color of the PBK dresser in our son's big boy room. The bed was easily assembled with two people. We got the slats to go with the bed, but purchased a mattress from elsewhere, which works perfectly. The bed is sturdy and fits nicely in the smaller bedroom.

Sturdy for an Adult. Exceeded Expectations.Anonymous reviewerI was a little hesitant to use this bed with only the Luröy slats and my Casper mattress, as I am a 285lbs, 5’8” man. I was extremely careful to distribute my weight and roll over gently the first few nights. I’ve stopped thinking about it, and simply get in bed and sleep with no problem. No signs of bending on the metal track that holds the slats, and no problems with the slats. I was also worried that the slats would not be close enough together for a Casper mattress without any kind of solid support, but I have had no problems or damage to the mattress. I am convinced that anyone who claims to fall through an Ikea bed simply failed to follow the assembly instructions meticulously. Make sure to use the white pegs in the metal track to hold the slats taught. You CAN put this together. If you are a competent and able bodied human being with enough attention span and spatial reasoning to follow any other Ikea furniture assembly, this will be no problem. Yes, a bed will take more assembly time than a night stand. Yes, there are many screws and dowel rods, keep them in a container as you work. Yes, you’re going to have a claw for a hand the next two days after you put this together with only a screwdriver, but you’ll survive. If you value your time and energy more than money, then buy the assembly service.
