Will Taskrabbit contact me before my assembly service appointment?
The Tasker that has been assigned to conduct your assembly service will reach out to you in a chat thread that you can reach in the Taskrabbit app or on their website, to discuss any details regarding your appointment. They will also send you a reminder 24 hours before your scheduled assembly service.
After you have placed an order with assembly service and activated your Taskrabbit account, you will be assigned to a Tasker that will reach out to you through a chat thread in the Taskrabbit app or on the Taskrabbit website. You can then chat with your assigned Tasker at any time to discuss details around your appointment until your assembly has been finalised. Please note that you must have activated your Taskrabbit account to be able to proceed with your assembly and get in contact with the Tasker, follow this guide if you are not sure how to activate your account: How do I activate my Taskrabbit account?
You will be matched with a Tasker anytime between the time the task is booked and up to 24 hours before the assembly service.
24 hours before the assembly is scheduled, you will also receive a reminder about the service. On the agreed date and time the Tasker will arrive at your home and complete the assembly. Please note that Taskers are not responsible for disposing of materials from assembly. You should also prepare for the Tasker's arrival by placing the box(es) into the room where the products should be assembled.
