What’s the difference between IKEA Kreativ in the IKEA app and IKEA Kreativ on a web browser?

Both versions of IKEA Kreativ offer the same great virtual room design experience, letting you add and arrange IKEA furniture and decor in a room. The main differences come down to how you create and interact with your space.

Scanning your room design
Room scanning is only available with IKEA Kreativ in the IKEA app. Using your mobile device, you can scan your real space, and then continue designing it on mobile or web. Scanning is not available on the web. After you scan a room on mobile, learn how to find and design it.
 
Zooming into your room design
The Zoom feature is available on IKEA Kreativ in the IKEA app. On the web, zooming is currently supported only when you use Build a Room.
 
Save As or Duplicate a room design
When using IKEA Kreativ in the IKEA app, you can create multiple versions of a room design by duplicating the design. Learn how to duplicate your design. On the web, you can create variations of your room design by clicking the Save icon and selecting Save a Copy from the dropdown menu.
 
Sharing and remixing a room design
On the web version of IKEA Kreativ, you can share your room using a Remix link, which allows others to open and edit your design. In the IKEA app, you can share an image of your room design, but Remix links aren’t supported.
 
Everything else
Whether using IKEA Kreativ on the IKEA app or the IKEA website, you can erase, arrange, and duplicate furniture and decor as you design.
