How can I interact with virtual furniture on IKEA Kreativ web?

On the web, the Action Panel appears when you select an item in the room. It serves as a toolkit for managing items, allowing you to rotate, swap, duplicate, delete products, and more.

Step 1: Accessing the Action Panel
  • On web, simply click on a product in your room to trigger the Action Panel, which will pop up with various options such as rotate, swap, duplicate, delete, and more!
  • For mobile users, the Action Panel appears on the right side of your room interface. Tap on a product to access it. For more information on the mobile Action Panel 
Step 2: Exploring Action Panel Options
  • Click on a product added to the room for the Action Panel.
  • Some icons may change depending on the product type; for example, wall-mounted items may not have a rotate icon. However, you may see a new icon that allows rotating of the product sideways. 
  • If you can't find the desired action immediately, click the three-dot menu to reveal additional options.
Rotating Products
  • To rotate a product, locate the Rotation icon within the Action Panel. Depending on your platform, these controls may appear as sliders, buttons, or gesture-based interfaces.
  • Adjust the rotation angle as needed to achieve the desired orientation for your product within the room.
Swapping Products
  • Select the item you want to swap, find the Swap icon on the Action Panel, and choose the replacement from the catalog. Confirm the swap, and the new product will replace the old one.
  • Alternatively, select the item you want to swap, then scroll down the IKEA catalog on the left to find "Swap with similar" and choose a replacement item from there.
Duplicating Products
  • Find the Duplication icon and click to create a copy of the selected product.
  • You can then drag and drop the duplicated product to the desired location within your room.
Deleting Products
  • Select the item you want to delete, find the Delete icon, and confirm the action to remove the item. Note that the delete icon may be located under the more options (...) icon.
  • Alternatively, if the Action Panel feels cumbersome, press the delete key on a keyboard when the product is selected.
Add Products to Favorites
  • To add a product to a Favorites List, select the item and click the Heart icon on the Action Panel. This will save the product for easy access throughout your IKEA journey.
Add Products to Bag
  • To add a particular item to your shopping bag for easy checkout, click on the product and select the Add to Bag icon.
Finding Products That Goes Well With
  • Goes well with suggests different products that might go well with a selected product. 
  • To access, select the product and tap the Goes Well With icon. A library of products will populate for you to choose from.
  • Alternatively, after selecting a product in the room, you can switch to "Goes well with" on the left panel catalog and choose additional products to add from there.
