IKEA FAMILY PROGRAM TERMS AND CONDITIONS

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. IKEA RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CANCEL OR MODIFY THIS PROGRAM AT ANY TIME. THIS MEANS THAT YOUR RIGHT TO EARN POINTS OR REDEEM CERTAIN REWARDS MAY BE TERMINATED OR MODIFIED AT ANY TIME. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS, DO NOT PARTICIPATE IN THE IKEA FAMILY PROGRAM. By enrolling and/or participating in the IKEA Family Program, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions are effective as of May 15, 2025 (“Effective Date”).  Changes made to these Terms and Conditions after the Effective Date, which may include, without limitation, those reasons as set forth in Section 9.1 herein, will be reflected in a revised “Last Updated” date, as set forth above. All such changes will take effect immediately as of the “Last Updated” date.

  1. Overview of the IKEA Family Program
    1.1 The IKEA Family Program (the “Program”) is a United States only based loyalty program sponsored by IKEA North America Services, LLC (“IKEA” or “we” or “our”) in which IKEA Family members (“Members”) can receive access to certain benefits, offers and promotions (collectively, “Offers”). Members can also earn points (each, a “Point” or collectively, “Points”) on both (i) qualifying IKEA purchases in the United States made in-store, via remote (phone, chat or virtually), via the IKEA application on your mobile device (“IKEA App”),  and/or online, and (ii) by interacting with IKEA in any of the manners as set forth in Section 5.3 below in the United States only (each, an “Interaction”). Points may be redeemed for various products, discounts, or other promotions (each, a “Reward”).  
    1.2 Notice of Financial Incentive. The primary purpose of our processing your data, including your personal data, in connection with the Program is to provide Offers and the ability to earn Points towards certain Rewards to participating customers. In some states, the Program may be considered a financial incentive. See our U.S. Privacy Policy for more details. Your participation in the IKEA Family Program is entirely voluntary, and you opt-in by choosing to sign up for the Program, and your continued voluntary interaction with your Account and the Program. At any time, you can discontinue your participation in the Program and cancel your Account by logging into your Account and following the prompts under “Account settings” to cancel your membership. Depending on where you reside in the United States, you may also request to delete the information associated with your Account by submitting your request using our Privacy Request Portal at https://privacyportal-eu.onetrust.com/webform/4934e273-6e7a-4e95-8a2f-48f0f901d3cd/2d7d7a43-1658-4b2e-8117-3d8542e3785d.  
    1.3. These Program Terms and Conditions and the Program are subject to the IKEA U.S. Privacy Policy found at https://www.ikea.com/us/en/customer-service/privacy-policy/ (the “Privacy Policy”), IKEA’s website Terms and Conditions found at https://www.ikea.com/us/en/customer-service/terms-conditions/ (“Website Terms and Conditions”), and the IKEA Family Supplemental Terms and Conditions found at https://www.ikea.com/us/en/ikea-family/ (“IKEA Family Supplemental Terms”). Participation in the Program constitutes your acceptance of our Privacy Policy and your full and unconditional agreement to these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy and Website Terms and Conditions. In the event of a conflict, the order of precedence is as follows: (i) these Terms and Conditions; (ii) the Website Terms and Conditions.
  2. Eligibility
    2.1 The Program is open to Members who are legal residents of the United States (and the District of Columbia), who are at least eighteen (18) years of age (or nineteen (19) in Alabama and Nebraska) at the time of enrollment. Void where prohibited by law. The Program is intended for individual use only. The following are not eligible to participate in the Program: teams, clubs, organizations, corporation, associations, collectives, schools or similar groups of individuals. The Program is not targeted toward, not intended for use by, anyone under the age of 18. There is no Program membership fee. 
  3. Enrolling in the Program
    3.1 If you were a Member prior to the Effective Date and unless you are no longer eligible, you are automatically enrolled in the Program and agree that you have read and accept these Program Terms and Conditions.  If you were not a Member prior to the Effective Date, you can enroll in the Program and begin earning Points on your qualifying IKEA purchases and Interactions, by visiting https://www.ikea.com/us/en/profile/signup/family/, supplying the required information, and electing to participate in the Program to create your account (“Account” or the “Loyalty Hub”). Upon your completion of the enrollment process, subject to eligibility, you: (i) become a Program Member; and (ii) receive access to an Account; and (iii) agree that you have read and accepted these Program Terms and Conditions.  
    3.2 Limit: one (1) Account per natural person. The person who is the holder of the Program membership associated with the email address used to register for the Program will be deemed the member for that Account. Subject to applicable laws, Accounts and Points may not be sold, transferred, assigned to, or shared with family, friends or others.  
    3.3 If it is discovered that you have obtained more than one Account, IKEA may terminate any and all of your Accounts and you shall immediately forfeit all Points and unused Rewards. You are responsible for ensuring that no unauthorized person has access to your Account. You are responsible for all activity on your Account. 
    3.4 When enrolling in the Program, you agree that: (i) you will not impersonate another person or violate the intellectual property or other right of any person or entity; (ii) you will provide true, accurate, current, and complete information and maintain and update such information; (iii) you are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your Account; and (iv) you will immediately notify IKEA of any unauthorized use of your Account.
  4. IKEA Family Card
    4.1 The IKEA Family card and any benefits of the Program are not transferable and can only be used by the qualifying individual that registered for the Program.  Any physical IKEA Family card issued associated with the Program is not a debit or credit card.
    4.2 If you have misplaced your IKEA Family member card or card number, visit https://www.ikea.com/us/en/ikea-family/. If you have any other questions about signing up for the  Program, we invite you to contact us at 1-888-888-4532.
  5. Earning Points and Restrictions
    5.1 There are two (2) ways to earn Points: (1) purchase qualifying IKEA products or services in-store, via remote, via the IKEA App, and/or online; and (2) Interact with IKEA in any of the manners set forth in Section 5.3, as may be updated from time to time.  To earn Points through any of the aforementioned actions, you must first identify yourself as a Member. For online purchases and Interactions, you must be successfully logged in to your Account via the Website by entering your Member email and password. For purchases and Interactions in-store, you must identify yourself as a Member by showing or scanning your IKEA Family card to an IKEA co-worker at the point of sale or at the designated in-store location of the Interaction. For online Interactions, you must be successfully logged in to your Account.  For remote, provide your IKEA Family Member number to the applicable IKEA Customer Service representative. For qualifying purchases, and unless otherwise indicated, you will earn one (1) Point for every $1 spent (excluding tax), with no limitation on the number of Points that can be earned.  IKEA may attach different or additional terms to Points and certain Rewards. IKEA may award Points to Members or subsets of Members and may also offer different Point earning opportunities to different Members or subsets of Members.   IKEA may limit the availability of any Program feature or offer in whole or in part to any Member or subset of Members.  
    5.2 If Members do not identify membership at the time of purchase or Interaction, they cannot claim Points retroactively. 
    5.3 Not all products and services are eligible to receive Points and IKEA may change which products and services are eligible at any time, in its sole discretion, without notice. Members cannot earn Points on Gift Card purchases. Taxes, fees, shipping, are also excluded and ineligible for Points.  Purchases made prior to the Effective Date do not qualify to earn Points.

Certain Points can only be collected once per person per calendar week for each type of Interaction (as set forth above). A calendar week begins on Monday and ends on Sunday. As an example, if you earn Points for logging into your Account on a Wednesday, you will not earn additional Points for logging in again until the following Monday, when a new calendar week begins and you log-in. You may engage in multiple Interactions during a week, but Points will only be awarded for the first occurrence of each eligible Interaction (where applicable) with IKEA per calendar week.  
5.4 IKEA reserves the right to change the number of Points that are collected for purchases and Interactions as well as change the Interactions and purchases that allow customers to earn Points. All such changes will be made available on your Account and will be updated in these Terms and Conditions.
5.5 You can see how many Points you have earned as well as the available Rewards options on your Account. Points will appear on your Account within approximately seventy-two (72) hours after completing a qualifying purchase or Interaction. In the case of transactions involving multiple eligible purchases consisting of multiple order types (e.g. in-store cash and carry purchase and a purchase including transport and/or assembly services) the applicable Points may be credited to your Account separately for the various order types within seventy-two (72) hours of completion of each specific order type. 

6. Points Redemption For Specific Rewards
6.1 Points earned and available on your Account may be redeemed for various Rewards as available through your Account at the time of redemption.  Unless otherwise stated, upon redemption of Points, the selected Reward will be delivered to your email (sent to the email associated with your Account) with the Reward voucher code which can be used to redeem your Reward in-store or online (as applicable).  The voucher will provide the instructions for how to redeem the Reward.  The required number of Points will then be subtracted from your Points balance following the desired Reward selection. Once a Reward has been chosen, it will not be possible to return or refund the Reward and receive your Points back.
6.2 Unless otherwise set forth on the voucher, you can use the voucher code online, in the IKEA App, in-store or via remote by contacting the Customer Support Center at 1-888-888-4532. The code can only be used once and will expire if it is not used within thirty (30) days from the day it is issued. Code will be forfeited as soon as it has been used, even if the order placed in connection with use of the voucher code is later cancelled. IKEA is not responsible for lost, late, stolen or expired codes.  Points cannot be used in conjunction with any other special, discount, promotional offer, program, IKEA Family or IKEA Business Network member offers, or any other program offered by IKEA stores or third parties unless otherwise stated in Section 6.3 below. 
6.3 The Rewards available to be redeemed using earned Points are as follows:

6.4 Rewards may change over time depending on, among other reasons, availability of products and services in our stores, and also customer interests and needs. This means that IKEA cannot guarantee that a specific Reward is available at the time you wish to redeem your Reward.  IKEA reserves the right to discontinue any Rewards at any time.  You acknowledge that IKEA has not made any representation, warranty or guarantee, express or implied with respect to any Reward.  
6.5  The current Rewards and the number of Points required to redeem, as well as the instructions for choosing a Reward, are available on your Account. 
6.6 Points are promotional and have no cash or other pecuniary value. Points cannot be used as partial payment for the purchase of items or services, unless such purchase is part of a redeemed Reward.

7. Points Adjustment – Returns & Exchanges
7.1 Your Points balance will be adjusted based on any returns or exchanges of products which earned Points. If you collect Points on a purchase, but then return the purchased item(s) for a refund, IKEA will deduct Points from your Points balance based on the value of the returned item(s).  In the event of an “even” exchange with no dollar amount difference between the exchanged and returned item(s), then no Points will be deducted. However, in the event of an “uneven” exchange where the product cost of the exchanged items is less than the cost of the returned items, there will be a corresponding Point deduction. Points are calculated in spending intervals, which means that you may end up with fewer Points if you make a purchase and then return one of the purchased items, compared to if you had made the same purchase without this particular item. The return of an item, after Points earned from that purchase were already used to redeem a specific Reward, could also lead to a negative Points balance on your Account once a Point adjustment is made. IKEA’s return and exchange policies apply to all purchases. Points and Rewards will not be reinstated for items purchased using Rewards which are later returned.  For example, if you redeemed Points for a Reward of $5 off your next purchase and you return the item you purchased with the Reward, your Reward and Points will not be reinstated.  

8. Expiration of Points and Unused Rewards 

8.1 Points are valid for a period of eighteen (18) months from the date of collection (i.e., the date of the Interaction or qualifying purchase that triggered the earning of such Points). After this date, the applicable Points will automatically expire. 

8.2 In addition, all Points and unused Rewards will expire the earlier of (i) on termination of your participation in the Program (whether terminated by you or by IKEA) or (ii) termination of the Program altogether, subject only to notice to you that is required by law, if any. 

9. Modifications, Cancellation, and Account Termination 
9.1 IKEA reserves the right to change, modify, and/or eliminate the Program, and/or all or any portion of these Terms and Conditions or any policy, FAQ, or guideline pertaining to the Program at any time at its sole discretion, including, without limitation, (i) changing the Program Point(s) earning rate (ii) changing the Program’s structure, (iii) removing or changing the redemption value of Points, (iv) revising the procedures or requirements for earning Points, and (v) associating, combining, integrating linking or merging the Program with other programs. IKEA may make changes, even though such changes may impact your ability to use Points already accumulated. Any changes or modifications will be effective immediately as of the “Last Updated” date set forth at the top of these Terms and Conditions, which may be accessed through the Website. You waive any right you may have to receive specific notice of such changes or modifications, except as required by law. Your continued participation in or access to the Program confirms your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and any changes or modifications to these Terms and Conditions. You should review these Terms and Conditions and our policies and FAQs (if any) frequently to understand the terms that apply to the Program. You may opt-out of the Program at any time by cancelling your Account by logging into your Account and following the prompts under “Account settings” to cancel your membership. 

10. General Terms and Conditions
10.1 IKEA reserves the right to discontinue your participation privileges if you engage in any fraudulent activity, including, without limitation, the use of bots or any other attempt to collect fraudulent Points under the Program, or use the Program in a manner inconsistent with these Terms and Conditions or any federal, municipal, state or local, laws, statutes, or ordinances.  Discontinued participation privileges may result in the loss of all accumulated Points.  In addition to discontinuance of participation privileges, IKEA shall have the right to take appropriate administrative and/or legal action, including criminal prosecution, as it deems necessary in its sole discretion.
10.2 Opting-out of the Program will result in the loss of all accumulated Points and Rewards.  Any user who opts-out, then re-registers for the Program will be treated as a new user to the Program.  
10.3  Your Account remains property of IKEA and must be surrendered upon request.  Except as expressly permitted by IKEA in its sole discretion, (i) Accounts, Points and Rewards voucher codes do not constitute your property and may be revoked at any time by IKEA as set forth herein; (ii) Accounts, Points may not be sold, resold, exchanged, auctioned, returned or bartered, encumbered, gifted, transferred or assigned, and are not transferable upon death, as part of a domestic relations matter or otherwise by operation of law.  All Points and Rewards voucher codes are promotional, have no cash or other pecuniary value, and may not be converted to a Gift Card balance or exchanged for cash unless required by law. Points can only be used to redeem available Rewards. Points may be subject to taxation, for which you are solely responsible. 
10.4 IKEA reserves the right to adjust your Account status or Points balance at any time, without notice, due to (i) computer error, (ii) technical issues and experiences by IKEA, (iii) machine malfunction, (iv) co-worker, customer or other error, (v) fraudulent activity or misuse of the Program or Points or (v) other reasons which IKEA deems appropriate.  All transactions involving Points are subject to review and verification by IKEA. 
10.5 IKEA may request proof of identification and age to verify (i) Program eligibility, (ii) membership participation, and (iii) compliance with these Terms and Conditions.  If as a result of a change by IKEA in the participation or eligibility requirements or a change in Member’s eligibility status, a Member no longer meets the requirements for participation, then, from the date of such change, such Member will no longer be entitled to earn Points or receive Member benefits, unless and until such Member meets the participation requirements.
10.6 IKEA is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information supplied by you while participating in the Program.
10.7 All questions or disputes regarding eligibility for the Program, awarding, earning or redemption of Points, or your compliance with these Terms and Conditions will be resolved by IKEA in its sole discretion.

11. Limitation of Liability; Miscellaneous
11.1 To the fullest extent permitted under applicable law, you release IKEA, its officers, directors, agents, subsidiaries, joint ventures and employees from claims, demands and damages (actual and consequential) of every kind and nature known and unknown, suspected and unsuspected, disclosed and undisclosed, arising out of or in any way connected with disputes relating to the Program and/or these Terms and Conditions. 
11.2 As a condition of participating in this Program, you agree that any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Program, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action.
11.3 All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of the Terms and Conditions, or your or IKEA’s, rights and obligations in connection with the Program, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions (whether of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, or any other jurisdiction) that would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. 
11.4 These Terms and Conditions, along with the Website Terms and Conditions and IKEA Family Supplemental Terms, constitute, constitute the entire agreement between Program participants and IKEA pertaining to the subject matter hereof and supersedes all prior or other arrangements, understandings, negotiations, and discussions, whether oral or written.  No waiver of any of the provisions of these Terms and Conditions shall be deemed or shall constitute a waiver of any other provisions hereof (whether or not similar), nor shall waiver constitute a continuing waiver unless otherwise expressly provided.
11.5 If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be severed from the remainder of these Terms and Conditions, which will otherwise remain in full force and effect. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the invalid or unenforceable provision shall be replaced with a valid, enforceable provision that most closely matches the intent of the original provision. 
11.6 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall be deemed to exclude or restrict any of your statutory rights as a consumer.
