Great for organizationKatieWe put two wide Skadis and one narrow behind a long double workstation. It works great to organize commonly used tools, scissors, and mail--plus we added hangers for audio-editing headphones. All in all, very pleased with our purchase.5
Easy way to display!!!MatthewThis is a super easy way to add a peg board to any location. I used 3M Velcro hooks and it’s secured to my wall without drilling. The only downside is this is an all black metal piece and the screw caps are white and show up top and the bottom . I did cover them with a shelf and hook but IKEA should’ve matched the materials5
I like the design, kind of a delicate lil flower.AaronThe boards and surface are a bit delicate. Great for light in home use, would not recommend for a shop. Shipping dinged up a corner boxes need a bit better protection. But 4 stars for the aesthetics.4
Works perfectlyConnorTook a moment to get it properly aligned on the wall but was smooth sailing afterwards5
Skadis pegboardAngelikaLove my board, well made, great for getting all my art supplies organised and visualised.5
Nice, clean designCarolSeems like it will withstand lots of changing organizational plans.5
Saves spaceDarleneGood for vertical storage without putting extra holes in the wall.5
Wish I could hang the 14½x22" horizontally!AnonymousI bought two of these today, for the space between my desk top and my cabinets. I was excited to be able to reclaim work space that is taken up by various containers for my art supplies. But I didn't realize it was only vertically oriented until after I got it on the wall, and realized I couldn't get the pegs in. They offer a horizontal one, but only in a free-standing form, with no wall bracket or spacers. Really?3
Mounting bar is frustrating.LarryI like the Skaddis line, but the mounting bars are not designed for American walls in the sense the bracket spacing never allows for both ends to be screwed into the Wood studs (24inch spacing typical to US homes). One side can be put into a stud but the other is definitely gonna need a dry-wall anchor type screw. 4
Peg are proprietary and too girthyMichaelI bought this with the hopes of display some of my action figures still in packages. Unfortunately the pegs are much too girthy for the action figures hangers to fit on without damaging the package. Add to this that the pegs construction is proprietary (can’t be replaced at big home improvement stores or online marketplace), and these pegboards are a real bummer. Probably good for crafts, or something, but not for what I intended.4
Simple setup for a great storage solution.NicholasVery easy to set up. Works great for storing tools and electronics and other various things. If you have a 3d printer you can do so much more with it.5
Pretty goodMonicaThis pegboard is pretty good. My biggest problem was that the screw things that they give you to install it are super fragile. Using a manual screwdriver tore up the screw really badly. The screwdriver shaved off the plastic material of the screw head.4
Easy to installTheresaI am enjoying being more organized! It was easy to install and many options to support being organized.5
great but a tiny bit fragileBettsieI like these peg boards but they are a tiny bit fragile. my order was dropped in transit and they can break or crush on the corner. IKEA made good on it, so that is not a problem... just use them wisely. I love the design and the clean lines. they ar way better than masonite peg board... much better looking.5
The worst Ikea product I've ever seenJasonI've bought a fair bit of Ikea products over the years, and they've almost all been high quality. These Skadis pegboards though are the absolute worst product I've ever seen from Ikea: it's not made of plastic like I thought when I ordered, it's some kind of particle board with a very thin layer of white covering.
The problem is that even the tinest bit of rubbing or pressure causes it to break and crack. It's INCREDIBLY fragile. I bought eight of these (they were delivered) and had a handyman install them for me, and only after they were up do I see all the damage. I'd say half of them have damage on the edges. If you screw in the wall bumpers too hard, it immediately damages the surface.
I've never seen an Ikea product this fragile and I wouldn't advise anyone purchase these via online ordering. Buy them in-store and inspect each one first, then be VERY gentle with them.
Ikea completely failed with this product.1
LOVE THISSaraI love all 3 of my pegboards 💗5
CuteKateLove the Skadis. Very handy and just what I needed to help with organization. Only thing I miss is the elastic strap accessory being sold on its own.5
What's not to love?BarbaraI love the Skådis system, I have 4 of the square ones in my studio for things that I need handy and I have 3 large ones over my workbench. They are flexible and the way they are raised off the wall makes them function easily. IKEA brought peg walls into this millennium with an updated look and a lot of different accessories to customize it.5
The Small Wood Skådis Pegboard ReturnsJcThis size/color combo was gone for a while but I’m so glad it came back. The size makes this very versatile in where I plan to mount them, on the sides of a black wire rack I have where I can hang gaming controllers and their cables as well as using a second one to “wall” mount an ethernet switch and power strip for the electronics that’ll get placed on the wire rack. My only negative at the moment is that while it’s great that this item came back, it’s ironic that the longer black peg hooks, that would have matched my black wire rack, have now disappeared from the Skådis assortment at the time of this review (Sept. 2025). Please bring back the black hooks!5
Overpriced fiber pegboardAnonymous reviewerI was pretty disappointed to find out this was just fiber pegboard. I thought it was plastic. Also the mounting bar is trash. If you've got a 3d printer just print some standoffs. you can pick how far off the wall it hangs and you get much more flexibility.3
