Shattered when filling with hot waterKamilaOn my last trip to Ikea last Sunday I purchased 4 of those mugs , 2 small ones and 2 big ones. When I got home I decided to make myself tea in my new mug. While feeling with hot water it shattered , burning my hand my tummy and feet. Water and pieces of glass were all over my countertop and floor. I love the look, but those cups are dangerous and I'm scared to use them.1

These mugs have SEAMSDanielIf your glass mug having a seam down the entire handle and side opposite, be warned that these have them despite the pictures not showing any seam. It's not just smooth glass all the way around. The mouth is also slightly larger than the base of a Hario v60 2 cup brewer so it doesn't sit flush on the mug.3
