What's not to love?BarbaraI love the Skådis system, I have 4 of the square ones in my studio for things that I need handy and I have 3 large ones over my workbench. They are flexible and the way they are raised off the wall makes them function easily. IKEA brought peg walls into this millennium with an updated look and a lot of different accessories to customize it.
The Small Wood Skådis Pegboard ReturnsJcThis size/color combo was gone for a while but I’m so glad it came back. The size makes this very versatile in where I plan to mount them, on the sides of a black wire rack I have where I can hang gaming controllers and their cables as well as using a second one to “wall” mount an ethernet switch and power strip for the electronics that’ll get placed on the wire rack. My only negative at the moment is that while it’s great that this item came back, it’s ironic that the longer black peg hooks, that would have matched my black wire rack, have now disappeared from the Skådis assortment at the time of this review (Sept. 2025). Please bring back the black hooks!
Overpriced fiber pegboardAnonymous reviewerI was pretty disappointed to find out this was just fiber pegboard. I thought it was plastic. Also the mounting bar is trash. If you've got a 3d printer just print some standoffs. you can pick how far off the wall it hangs and you get much more flexibility.
Only one orientationJordynReally disappointed that because of the shape of the holes, the board can only be oriented one way. I bought the 30x22 for a wall next to my window thinking I could hang it 22x30 , but it turns out that it only works 30x22 not 22x30 because of the shape/orientation of the holes and the length of the support bracket. Not worth it to drive back to the store to exchange it for the 22x22, I just have to deal with the extra board hanging in front of my window I guess. I'm also disappointed that the hardware is white and not black to match the board. I'll probably spray paint the screws so they blend in better.
Love the idea, short on interchangeability RebeccaThe fact that there are so many cool attachments is great. BUT the fact that the board themselves have two different orientations and are not compatible is super frustrating. If you don't know and are planning to use pieces together, it involves jerry rigging. Super annoying
Love the skadis line…except-CarrieI have numerous Skadis pegboards. I like the way they look and how they enable me to keep items organized yet easy to use. My only gripe is the options for accessories. I had hoped that over time the line would grow to include more items- ie- PAPER TOWEL HOLDER (hint hint) they may feel that there are only so many options but they aren’t thinking hard enough. I’ve managed to “rig” regular pegboard accessories to fit the things I wish the line included. But they don’t really work - which I’m sure is by design. I don’t have issue with buying original skadis items- just make more options!!

Really great, durableJeaneneI have had these installed for about 2.5 years. They’re on the inside of my laundry dry room door and hold my tools. Works beautifully for that purpose and I have never had an issue with quality. If you’re surprised about them not working vertically, you obviously didnt pay attention to the way they’re installed in literally all of the pictures on this site. I wish I knew the weight they will hold because I want to do a pegboard wall in my kitchen for my cookware.

Missing detailsAmandaHeads up, because of the mounting bracket this can only be hung up horizontally. Also, not sure if this is standard or a mistake with my order but the mounting bracket and hardware that came with it are white and the board is black.

One Size Fits All - UnfortunatelyMonetIt would have been helpful to know that the 30 x 22 can only hang where 30 is the width of the space due to the bracket. I wanted the biggest size because I wanted the 30 to offer maximum vertical coverage. So now, I have to return it and get the 22 x 22 instead.
I wish the brackets were sold separately for a nominal amount (like $2) so that we could decide which way we would like to hang the board respective to our spaces within our homes/business/etc.

Quality is not there for the priceJonaeFor the price of these, the quality really is not there. I assumed they were plastic, but they are actually particle board with a very thin coating. My fault for not reading the description and I'd be fine with it still if they worked as intended with the accessories designed to be compatible with them. My biggest issue is the knobs. When I move them to different locations, there is a small knotch on the back that tears through the thin coating on the board. I've only had these up less than 24 hours, and moved the knobs just a couple of times trying to accomplish my preferred placement and have multiple knicks already. I would expect much better performance and quality for the price of these.
A clean look that keeps extra stuff off my deskCindiI purchased this for my home office because I had no more desk space. So a slim wall unit was my solution. You can get bins and pegs as well as clear plastic little boxes. Love it!

What is fibreboard?
Fiberboard is a stable and durable material made of leftover wood from the wood industry. A durable outer layer of paint or laminate is added to the board. The difference between various types of fiberboards, such as HDF and MDF, is mainly the thickness, yet also how impact-resistant they are. This determines if we will use them for bed frames, sofa frames, kitchen fronts, wardrobe doors, or something completely different.
