Great except for stackingEmilFor stacking, mending plates are used to attach the legs of one rack to the legs of the other. However, only one mending plate was provided per rack (or was missing one each), so the two legs without the mending plates become misaligned if the rack on top is jostled. Good thing is that additional mending plates and screws (101827 & 109535) are available at the IKEA parts store (https://www.ikea.com/us/en/customer-service/returns-claims/spareparts/). Otherwise, this would have been a 5 star review.4

Question: stackingTaniaDoes anyone know if the piece that’s used to stack the shoe rack is sold separately? If so, can you please reply with a link so I can purchase. Thank you! I currently have 8 of these and never need to stack more than two and that was fine. But now we are stacking 4 and it’s not very stable— granted, we threw away the pieces to attach them so we are literally just putting one on top of the other. Even that way there they don’t fall unless you push into them. However, obviously this is a very temporary solution and we are looking for something more permanent and sturdy. Thanks for your input in advance. : )5

As a suggestion, it would have been nice if each rack came with two metal plates to use when stacking these units. When stacking two units, you are only given two plates total. This doesn't feel very sturdy after they're joined.4
