Need shorter cord sizes and a flat plug.LindaOur outlets are directly behind cabinets, have big bundle of cord taking up space and a flat plug would make it much easier.3
Wish cord was maybe thinner to help hiding this, but good product overallIanThis may be long but is a simple detail review covering gaps in instructions and good Youtube videos online are hard to find. I used this Tradfi (power driver), Mittled (light strips), Rodret (wireless on/off switch), Ansluta (power cord), Vagdal (wiring). I've done other installs with Ribbonflex stuff, chose this for my daughter's closet as it looked more simple. This was plug and play, make sure your led rating doesn't exceed your power supply rating, otherwise buy what I did. Install was basic, figure out where you're securing the driver, wire cabling, led mounting and then go. The driver uses 1 power cable that is long with a toggle power switch, otherwise each led uses a single cable run to the driver unless you string the led units together to make a big led strip. Biggest gap is the Rodret setup. What's missing..put battery in the Rodret unit, use pin on the sync button on the Tradfi driver and then hold sync button on Rodret while holding against driver. Highly recommend5

jack of all trades, master of noneMattyFairly long cable with a switch right in the middle pretty much guaranteeing that no matter how you lay this out, it's going to be a bad fit. The cord is only of use to the two drivers, but sold separately instead of bundled with the only products capable of using it. And just for kicks there's yet another cable with a non-smart driver built-in which absolutely will not work with a smart driver. I saw nothing in store or online about what to buy and how to use. Also not impressed how I ended up paying nearly $50 just to run a $20 cabinet light.1
Good reach; should be available in brown and blackJuddCord is a great length to work even on very tall bookcases. In-line switch is possibly convenient, though a bit too close to the plug if the wall outlet is behind the bookcase/shelf unit. It really ought to be available in brown and black as well, though, to blend with different decors. I happen to have espresso-colored open-back cases against a medium-dark wall color, so had to take extra pains to be sure that the white cord is tucked out of sight.4

DisappointedJenniferLove the lights and wanted the option to dim. I swapped out smart components in the event they were defective but finally Gave up and returned the lights and all the smart components! Super disappointed as I love the lights. IKEA needs a dedicated desk and staff in store for lighting and one location for product. I ran around crazy between showroom and market place. Big hassle to get help online or in store!1

Function solution

A bright shelf

RATIONELL shelf with built-in lighting spreads light both upwards and downwards. Put it on the wall with brackets from the same series or mount it inside an AKURUM kitchen cabinet. Use the ANSLUTA cord system to connect several together.
