These yellow horriblyKennethDo not purchase, they yellow after a few years and the beautiful cream white is no longer there. Ikea will not honor the warranty and says this is normal wear and tear.1
they swell up and break downLaurawe really loved these and they looked so good for the first 3-4 years but then the edges started to deteriorate and swell and particle board below the veneer showing. Don't get them or keep the receipt to replace them after a few years.1
Love everything about itFrankJust put in a new kitchen, twenty-two cabinets, endless drawers and baskets, and everything went swimmingly. I did all the assembly myself, but we had a great contractor do the actual installation. We’re so chuffed! There was not a single piece or part missing, though two items were damaged during shipping whic IKEA replaced promptly with no questions asked. Due to supply chain issues, it took nine months for everything to arrive, but we paid only the first delivery fee, and all subsequent deliveries were included. All-in-all, we couldn’t be happier.5

What is fibreboard?

Fiberboard is a stable and durable material made of leftover wood from the wood industry. A durable outer layer of paint or laminate is added to the board. The difference between various types of fiberboards, such as HDF and MDF, is mainly the thickness, yet also how impact-resistant they are. This determines if we will use them for bed frames, sofa frames, kitchen fronts, wardrobe doors, or something completely different.
