The keys to the lock on this product are not unique, which means that several locks can be opened with the same key.

Tempered glass is 4-5 times stronger and more resistant to breaking than regular glass. In case it would break, it shatters into many granular pieces to reduce the risk of injury.

SIDE, REAR GLASS DO NOT FIT recent change in manufacturing location IanI bought a Milsbo back in 2023 and assembled it no problem. Fast forward to late 2025, I have bought TWO Milsbos that cannot fit either all of two glass panels into the frame. I do not know if this is a bad batch or the new manufacturing origin of India that is the issue. Again, the Milsbo purchased in 2023 had no issues whatsoever during assembly and the glass snapped into place easily. That is no longer the case with the two I bought. 1

Perfect TaylorWe originally went to IKEA looking for a more slender display cabinet but left with this one and I’m so happy we did. This was perfect for our nerdy toy display. More to be added soon so glad there’s tons of room. I also love that it locks. We will likely add spot lights to the top at some point. **Deducted one star because one of the glass panels has a scratch right out of the box. I debated returning back to store but seemed more of a hassle than I wanted to deal with. But it was pretty disappointing.. otherwise very happy with it. **4
Milsbo Assembly and AppearanceJeffreyI was able to easily assemble the cabinet using the instructions that came with the item plus a great online video that I could follow as I went along. The finished product looks great and did not take very long to assemble. The only thing of which I am not certain is how much weight each shelf can handle. I think I have read that the shelves are made of tempered glass and may be stronger than old shelves that came with prior versions of the cabinet. I would appreciate it if someone from IKEA could provide information on the amount of weight each shelf can hold. I just purchased my unit and June 2025.5

Greenhouse cabinetKarlienLove this. And it came in the best condition, the glass protected in an intelligent, environmentally friendly way. Used the protection parts in my garden. Using it as a small greenhouse cabinet, and it is stellar for it. I have tried other things, sealing the composite wood to protect it from moisture, but those never worked. This has aluminum, so I don’t have to worry about it falling apart at all. Hoping to get another one soon. Put it together by myself, so not difficult to follow the instructions, but it would probably go a lot smoother and easier with help from another person. You can assemble it alone though, not so big and bulky that it’s impossible, but that’s a gamble if you’re not used to assembling things by yourself. Absolutely a fan!5

Love the cabinet, was easy enough to build with 2 people. Didn't have any problems lining up the doors. Only negative is you can't buy extra glass shelves to fit.

Material

What is glass?

Glass is mainly made of sand, soda, and lime melted at a high temperature. Tempering or various additives gives you extra-strong and impact-resistant glass that in some cases can be taken straight from freezer to oven without cracking. A big benefit is how glass can be recycled over and over without the quality deteriorating. Also, a lot less energy is needed to melt recycled glass compared to new raw materials. Our goal is to eventually use only recycled glass in our range.

"MILSBO glass-door cabinet is all about giving maximum attention to the things stored in it, rather than the cabinet itself. My idea was to use as little material as possible and give the product clean lines and an airy design with hidden brackets and angled edges. Adjustable shelves allow you to adapt the cabinet to different needs, and a lock keeps your stored things more secure. I see it as a cabinet that discretely allows other objects to stand out."
