Family-friendly amenities

We have accessible toilets on each floor of our store. As a destination for the whole family, we have you covered; baby change rooms, a nursing & feeding room, and kids’ menu options in our restaurant. Our restaurant has food warming facilities and children’s cutlery to use.

Children can visit Småland — the perfect play area for jumping, climbing, running and bouncing!

There are four unsupervised play areas around our store where families can take a break and play together.

We offer family-friendly (pram) parking located close to the store entrance in the car park. Find out more about our facilities here.

How to get to IKEA Alexandra

From 1 Sep 2024, the free weekend shuttle service to IKEA Alexandra will cease operation. You can still plan your visit to IKEA Alexandra via public transport.

Parking at IKEA

Coming by car? Parking is free for the first 3 hours with any purchase made in IKEA Alexandra store. Simply present your original receipt to any of our checkout co-workers to redeem a free parking coupon. Disabled and family-friendly parking bays are available near our entrance.

Regular parking fee is $0.06 per minute. Payment will be deducted automatically from your Cash Card at the exit gantry.

Electric vehicle (EV) charging is available at a rate of $0.45/kWh. You will find 3 charging lots in our basement car park located between Zones D&C that are available for public use.

To start using the EV charger, download the CHARGE+ app from iOS App store or Android Play Store. See terms and conditions here.

Weekdays, weekends & public holidays
From 9am – 11pm

Overnight parking is not allowed. Vehicles will be wheel clamped and a charge of $100 will be imposed to remove the wheel clamps.

You will find wheelchair access to all areas and loan wheelchairs and shopping carts on request.

Our Hearing Loop system is available and located in the Kitchen planning studio. Please approach our co-workers for assistance.

Assistance animals are always welcome.

Our restaurant has accessible tables for wheelchair users with a QR code for menu browsing.

Parking

We have wide-access parking and a ramp-accessible drop-off/pick-up area in the basement.
