From 1 Sep 2024, the free weekend shuttle service to IKEA Alexandra will cease operation. You can still plan your visit to IKEA Alexandra via public transport.

Parking at IKEA

Coming by car? Parking is free for the first 3 hours with any purchase made in IKEA Alexandra store. Simply present your original receipt to any of our checkout co-workers to redeem a free parking coupon.

Regular parking fee at IKEA Alexandra is $0.06 per minute.

We also have 3 EV lots in our store car park that are available for public use.*

(Payment will be deducted automatically from your Cash Card at the exit gantry)

Note: Overnight parking is not allowed. Vehicles will be wheel clamped and a charge of $100 will be imposed to remove wheel clamps.

Terms & conditions for EV charging

EV parking lots are strictly reserved for EV vehicles with charging activity and are subject to the availability of the EV lot.
EV charging activities are opened between 10am to 10pm daily at a rate of $0.45 per kWh. The operator reserves the right to change, suspend or restrict access to the EV chargers without notice or liability.
Mecomb is not liable to you or any person with you
(a) injury sustained by you or anybody else;
(b) Loss or damage to vehicles and their contents left within the car park
(c) and by using the EV chargers, you agree to release and indemnify Mecomb from any claim
Users shall be responsible to pay the operator for any damage to the equipment, structure and/or fixtures or to the grounds in the car park or elsewhere caused by the users for whatever reason. The operator shall have absolute authority to assess the cost of making good or repairing the damage and any statement issued by the operator to the quantum of such loss shall, save for manifest error, be accepted as conclusive evidence that the amount thereon is due and owing.

In-store assistance

You will find wheelchair access to all areas and loan wheelchairs and shopping carts on request.

Our Hearing Loop system is available and located in the Kitchen planning studio. Please approach our co-workers for assistance.

Assistance animals are always welcome.

Our restaurant has accessible tables for wheelchair users with a QR code for menu browsing.

Parking

We have wide-access parking and a ramp-accessible drop-off/pick-up area in the basement.

We have accessible toilets on each floor of our store.

Family-friendly

As a destination for the whole family, we have you covered; baby change rooms, a nursing & feeding room, and kids’ menu options in our restaurant.

Children are welcome to visit Småland – the perfect play area for jumping, climbing, running and bouncing!

Our restaurant has food warming facilities and children’s cutlery to use.

There are four unsupervised play areas around our store where families can take a break and play together.

We offer family-friendly (pram) parking located close to the store entrance in the car park.
