It’s more fun together – a creatively shared bedroom

Here’s a shared bedroom where two free spirits can have fun together or be alone when they need to be. With two personalities and lots of vibrant colours and bold patterns, it gets pretty lively. But this room is designed to always be relaxed, coordinated and practical for growing kids, too.

Textiles to set the styles

We’ve used textile products in different styles to help express different personalities. It’s abstract dot patterns on one side and swimming turtles and coral on the other. Textiles are a great way to do this, and it’s easy to change them as your kids’ personalities develop.

Happy places to learn

Here are two spaces that make learning easier. One has a desk, chair and storage for homework essentials. The other has a table at a child’s height to sit at as your big sister explains the alphabet. The mostly white furniture combines with the more colourful items to create a bright, happy atmosphere.

A cosy nook with an older kid’s look

Here’s a tween-friendly look created by the colours of the bedding and the pictures, as well as the graphic drawings on the wall. The white bed, with storage for a growing child, provides a neutral backdrop. Its recessed drawer handles look like black lines, adding a strong graphic effect, too.

A personal and playful style

The bed linen with its swimming turtles sets the ocean style. Changing it is easy if you want a new look, but this bed is extendable so your child can use it for years. There’s also a peanut-shaped Bluetooth speaker and a wall lamp that looks like a cloud that strengthen the sense of playfulness.
